....lights

ok, since seeing kennedy's thread about his headlights with zkw lens, i'll post some pictures of what i have....

here are some pictures of the cut off zkw can provide. these shots were taken about 16 feet away.

final products will be done soon, still waiting for the custom diffusers if i can make it happen....

i'll post more pictures of my TL later here, everything's still waiting for install...

no mate
no color mod needed for zkw lens output, as you can see they already give you enough color on the cut off.

Those ZKWs are sick! I want some now. Rims look nice but the spokes are too skinny for my liking.

You are getting too much color at 16 feet :-/ its suppose to be blurry at close distances i.e. anything less than 20 feet and razor sharp at distances > 20 feet. What sort of spacer are you using?

For instance this is a video with the projector being roughly 20 feet away, notice how there is barely any color

Video at 20 feet

and video at 150+ feet

150+ feet away

The ratio between color and sharpness is adversely proportional in this combo . From where I see it you need a better spacer

I'll take some more pictures at about 40 feet.
I know it gets blurrier in closer distance....

my spacer was measured accurately with a digital caliper.
what's the disadvantage of having the color cut off at 16 feet?

here's a close up picture of the SSR GT3 with Project Kics R40 extended lugs:

here's a side view of the car, not bad for 30 offset:

here's a picture of the hub ring that came with the rims...as you can see, the inner diameter is the wrong size for our TL (64.1mm), they're (66.05mm), which are too big for our hubs:

outer diameter for the rims:

i had to custom made the hub rings to fit our TL hubs and the rims, the one on the left is the original hub rings that came with the rims, the one on the right is the custom made one that fit our TL hubs:

inner diameter of the new custom made hub rings for our TL hubs (64.1mm):

day time side view shot:

other goodies and fun stuff i made:

front side markers mod coming soon:

black chrome housing are coming soon as well.....
stay tune....
