I did something special today. Here's a picture of my cut off for my TL.
LOL, i'm just kidding, but it sure looks cool. I was working on my taillights today while I'm still waiting for my headlights harness to come in. Gonna do some custom work on the taillights as well.
One thing is complete though, my switchback side markers are done.

What's the level of difficulty for modifying the tails? I have a set of OEMs, but I'm not sure if I want to try cutting those open, or just buy a cheap used set and experiment with those

Glad your still here man gives me hope on my headlights ^_^ LOL but yes man very clean wdp. I look forward to seeing what mods you do to give me ideas. Also I think I got the same leds you got they look and give a hint of purple I need to find some that are about the same color as our gauges if anyone knows where I can get some before I start replacing them with these darker blue/purple ones

I'm getting "drone" installed for my TL, plus some audio goodies now after 8 years.

Just a bunch of glare anyway. Assuming he got morimotos they are impossible to capture.

that's just a video of the angel eyes working under DRL. sorry for the bad quality video....iphone 5s was placed 1 foot off the ground, so yes lots of glare aiming to the floor.

I'm wondering about your DRL set up with the harness. Did you not need to use a resistor on the driver's side before the harness then? You mentioned an in-line resistor for passenger side socket but not driver's side. If this is true, then you just solved my LED DRL woes as well!
Keep up the great work man, I usually love the Audi style DRL strips but I personally think it takes away from the general beauty of the the 3G headlight housing. The black chrome is beautiful though.
