Maybe the pics did not portray it very well, but these are the gunmetal 2004 aspec rims. The only year it was made in gunmetal color and 8.5 width... they only have black chrome and silver nowadays.

sold the originals for 740 because of a small paint chip.

I'm looking forward to getting the Ebony A-Specs but always "watch" the o.g. gun metal A-Specs on ebay. Looks mean 'though!

Type-R centercaps?

At first I didn't like the stock TL-S wheels but I like them more now because they are gunmetal. If it was silver then they wouldn't be as nice.

A-spec package 1 of 3 complete. Now for 2 and 3, A-spec suspension and lip kit.

thanx for the response guys!! I might get the aspec suspension soon, but might skip the lip kit, in my opinion they kinda make the car look bulky on the bottom especially in the back. anyway, when the guys assembled the center caps, they forgot to take the adhesive backing from the A part and screwed the part right into the back plate, so the red you see is actually adhesive paper, I might redo it, but I kinda like it as is, what do you guys think??

I actually think the silver a-specs look good here, I am usually a fan of the gunmetal ones. Way WAY better than the Type-S rims!

Nice touch with the red centercaps....usually I wouldn't like that either, but it goes with your car, nice offset to the red lit interior! Nice, unique!

Wheels look great. I love the gunmetal color. Are you able to use TPMS sensors with 2004 wheels?
Finally - where did you get them from?

So you got the '04 18"x8.5" A-specs from the dealer? I didn't know they still offered the 8.5" wide size.

I gather that you are in So. Cal. since you're mentioning Discount Tires. Where in So. Cal. are you located?

Yup I know the tape on the center was suppose to be removed, the idiot "Tirerack recommended installer" did not. But I actually kinda like how it came out, so I kept it.

I am actually in San Jose, we have discount tires here too, but I never go there, they damaged two sets of my wheels on my previous cars. They have excellent customer service but crappy equipment and pressure to go fast on work...

Give them a call because when I called they called a bunch of places and tried to sell me rims that had been repaired and wheels that were supposedly just laying (take offs)around in some warehouse...not BNIB Gunmetal A-Specs.
