Went out Sat. night to the track (Bradenton Motorsports Park BMP) rolled with a fellow 5.0 Coyote buddy to see what my whip can put down and just like I thought, I get down the track but 60ft time KILLED me and the full potential of the car up to this point. TIRES TIRES TIRES!!!
#2650
LOL! I have vids of 2 of the runs Sat. night. With BAD traction and avg 60' time 2.2+ ~ 2.8+ I still was smoking other cars I lined up with. There was a nice sounding full bolt on mods SRT8 300 with a GoPro mounted on the dead center of roof near the top of the windshield....lets just say there is recorded proof of a 3 car length KILL! And I was still upset at the run with 12.58 @ 116mph @ 2.2 60ft

Nice pictures, man! Get lightroom for editing, it'll help you find that sweet spot with the white balance. In the evening, when you shoot, you can't include too much sky in the frame because it'll darken up to not get washed out and you'll end up with a REALLY dark car or a whited out sky.
Looking good though, man. 12 seconds without traction is nothing to scoff at.

man when you said 60ft times were bad, I was thinking 13.2s then a couple post down
you ran 12.5s. I'd say if that your first time down the 1/4 that's dam good. How many
passes you made down the track? Oh love the drag set-up.

Don't all the new 5.0's have the Coyote motor? I feel like there's really no need for you to always mention your car is a 5.0 Coyote since all the GT's have that same motor starting in 2011. That's like people on here always posting they have a 04 TL vtec. We all know what it is by now. /rant

Fine.
Yes, the 2011 was the first year that the 5.0 coyote motor was introduced. I wanted it and I wanted it badly...even test drove it 4 different times...2011, California Package with 3.73 gears. Loved it, but didn't love the payment on $34K or whatever it was.

That I knew... But wasn't 100% if they also incorporated the 4.6 GT to the line of options for the Mustang trim. So now I am 100%, CHECK! 5.0 and v6... for those who don't know, that v6 ain't nuttin to shake a stick at either @ 305hp stock! I heard many good things about it and it can skoot!

Well, I have some ideas of my next project to tackle after some more research goes into the whole idea. The possible mod to come is running CORN / E85. Before then, I obviously need a set of fat/skinny with slicks and I may also lighten up the rotational weight with a 1pc aluminum drive shaft. Just wanted to update some brain stormin ideas I have started to flirt with.

I love it. The photos above scream "POWAH". The 5.0 is definitely going to be my next car if I don't go back to my roots (S2000). I really like that front lip btw, JayVee.

You read my mind, D's up...I want one too...I'll have it eventually in the form of a 2013 GT500 in 2016. Kona or Sterling...Brembo, Obvi...and projectors are standard.
and ps...the only reason the V6 mustang will never be an option to me is because of the 5.0

Uh oh......what do we have here!
#2675
well, according to my tuner and several other guys who run practically the entire same set up give or take here and there, most are averaging 11.30s-11.70s. Again, different mods/name brand/model/more or less combinations including tires and pump vs E85. Either way, ALL MOTOR ALL BOLT ONS those are the communities avg 1/4 times net 0-60ft 1.5-1.7s. Hope this help til I can be the ACURAZINE's Guinea Pig-Poster Child gone rogue

That was a pic from the seller. I should be getting them today! On another note, my idea or flirting with the thought to switch over to E85 has now been confirmed and invested! I bought my FORD RACING #LU47 fuel injectors last night after hanging out late night with maybe 30+ other local Domestic guys and of 30, half were Mustangs. Everyone out there was either on the bottle or E85, some cases both. I was completely impressed with how the Mustang's react and perform with E85 and maybe 2 mods apps. I was actually pissed they were so fast with such lil $ invested in power-adders or bolt ons. Most had only X pipe w/axle back exhaust and CAI. After that, it was a no brainer to me...e85 it is! Can't wait! Should left the bar to the next level.
