Wtf, NO!!!! DO TEAL DAMMIT!
#2242
Eh, we will see...If all fails, TEAL it will be then they will be keepers for sure. Just trying to make some changes in my life at this point and the TL is falling by the waste side when looking at the "Priorities" list...lol! So, with that said...to be honest fellas, this may be the begining to the end of the TL and maybe a blow out sale of parting her out returning back to stock and just using the car as a car...with no worries. Or moving on to something just to drive.
Cuz face it, I don't just drive this car. There are all kinds of things to worry about during every single daily commute
High maintenance in every way and in the end, a complete waste of money. U guys will soon understand where I am one day. Or in the end, just keep her and suck it up....Options

Aww man. ![Sad](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
I understand though. Family takes first priority.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Good luck with whatever you decide on

...But every weekend I wash her...I wanna keep her and just cruize 35-40mph...lol!
But yeah...all ave are being measured out between the wife and I and our current situation. I understand the problems I have now will only conform to different problems once these are fixed or corrected in our lives. That is life... This is why I don't want to just jump and make any drastic decisions just as of yet. Best scenario would be SELL the TL all together, 2nd part out and sell TL and last keep her. Of course speaking from a financial pov. Because my heart goes through that list kinda backwards...lol!

I'm still all for you keeping the car. If a new set of wheels or color change on the XXR's helps change your mind, I'm all for it. You have a lot of work into it and it draws more attention on the road than many exotics around town.
If you decide to sell, I hope it goes to an owner that appreciates the work done and keeps the car looking good. I'll just keep bugging you to get back into another project down the road.

I hear you man...my goal is to actually keep this car until it's paid off without trading it in. My wife drives the big family vehicle, which is what we take 95% of the time to cart the kiddies around, so there's really no pressure for me to get into something bigger or more comfortable.

I know what you mean. I was in love with my Cobra, but I eventually got to a point that it was too much. Gears were the last thing I did hoping to fall in love with it again, but 3 months later I decided I was over the car and quickly traded it in for the Acura without any warning to my family and friends. Everyone was surprised to see me get rid of that car.

Maybe it's time to upgrade to a new Shelby! My friend's '13 Shelby put down 605hp 562tq STOCK! We are installing a CAI, H-Pipe, and tuner on his car next week. It should be a fun test drive after we finish.

I had 2 step kids at one point...and they were young, and I was broke. And I still kept up with mildly and cheaply modding my accord. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Josh, don't be so quick to make the decision. If you do, you'll enjoy how much your car rides awesome and smooth and doesn't need 3 month alignments and rubbing and yearly tires. BUT, then you'll see 1 of those rolling shots of your car again and I guarantee you you'll end up

Ok... so my wheels are SOLD as of right now, just awaiting deposit tomorrow morning and final full payment Mon-Tues from HOMEBOYNYC. Now...here is the kicker and the whammy!
I have been fighting with myself for week on end and have come to my final straw. Now that the wheels/tires sold, I do NOT plan on being a wheel whore or going in the direction I have traveled. I am sure some have felt this was coming by small hints here and there but, I am done. My TL will officially be "PARTED OUT GOING BACK TO STOCK", minus the audio & video. I am sure that will still be used and come in handy with my baby and entertaining him in his travels.
Before anything become official and listed for sale in a thread, I want to ask for opinions here regarding one area of my part out where I am having the most difficult time determining a method of sale... TOPIC: My ASPEC KIT part out sale. My situation is as u guys know, the front lip was trimmed to fit the 2005 ACCORD fog lights and I would like to sell the ASPEC kit. But I don't see any other way but to sell the entire front bumper with carbon fiber ACURA insert, ASPEC front lip, OEM Accord fogs, TLS lower bumper grilles, painted grille with carbon fiber emblem inserts in addition side skirts and rear bumper lip. What is your thought or approx cost for all of this?
With this said, I would obviously need the trade of the OEM front bumper and grille. I have all my other stock parts and accessories. This will also require a LOCAL deal to take place also. I will not work any shipping out with this transaction or trade. Way too much of a hassle!
BE LOOKING OUT FOR THE OFFICIAL FULL PART OUT GOING BACK TO STOCK SALE!!!
***Locals will have first dibs and priority***
Thanks Fellas.

You have my respect for putting your family's needs in front of your own. That's how you do it ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Best of luck selling the parts and such! Maybe Austin will decide to get a few parts from you so his TL isn't stock anymore

Yeah...Just kinda tired of the whole duckin & diving pot holes, curves, drive ways etc etc... I just wanna drive. For some reason I get mentally exhausted after driving. Almost a stressful mental workout from all the worries during my daily commute. There is more to it but really, I am tired of the low life and modding and stepping away for now to hold down the fort and concentrate on the finer things in life.

I hated knowing what you were planning on doing, but I had to respect that you wanted to keep it secret so you could make up your mind. I of course will have first dibs on parts since I took some those badass pics of your car.

Agree with josh...I should have gone 225 tires but I felt good about 235 when other members told me they had them but each car is slightly different. Lot of info in this thread just a lot of pages to dig through, but overall you can make this work with the right tires and the right fender mods. The wheels look amazing and I get a ton of compliments on the wheels but I dont mention how cheap they were haha

^agreed...
I wish you luck in whatever you do with the car, Josh. We all know you're very good at modding...so I'm sure you're equally as good at unmodding. I kinda wouldn't mind driving around a bone stock TL too to see how much different it feels.

Well, as of 11pm last night...WHEELS & TIRES Officially SOLD!!! The only downside to that is ~ shipping to Washington State! Geeeez! Can u get any further?
But hopefully his agreed shipping total will cover it. Not time to get the stock stars from storage. I knew I should have painted them a few weeks ago when I had the idea to paint them that duplicolor charcoal grey metallic. I believe I seen a member here with a NBP TL and duplicolor painted stars...Looked GREAT!
