Just wanted to share. I was thinking...IDK if I have said this before, but all my cars I have ever owned (with the exception of 2-3 out of over 50+) have been BLACK! And in this case, more then just the color of the body is full circle and funny how history repeats...lol!

Here is my TL ~ as u guys already know

and here was my 2003 (10TH ANNIVERSARY) Mustang "TERMINATOR" COBRA #1457

...Although very different BEAST(s) of each kind, very simular in many ways...LMAO

That's my dream car with an 03/04 motor swap. A guy in Ellenton has one with either a KB or Whipple on it.

A local guy took me for a ride in his 2.2KB Cobra. I fell in love with the 2.2 scream that no other SC sounds like.

Before I hit up on very hard times and SOLD the fox due to a divorce coming in the horizon, That was the exact mod I was going to do, 03/04 Cobra swap 6spd. But sold it and assumed all was good between the wife and I. Later purchased the COBRA and WHAM! Divorce was unavoidable. The COBRA was in both our names and I was not about to fight over a car in court and all the mess I was dealing with already. It was best just to let it go to have less for her to be vindictive over. Oh how I miss her so....

...The COBRA that is, NOT THE EX WIFE! Are u fkn kidding me

Had a lil free time today since the wife had later on afternoon appointments, so I decided to get a alignment. After 3 2x4's each side, they finally got her on the rack safely

FRONT: Set at stock settings since there was plenty of room
REAR: Set at 1.9 (-)

But, I have a question... Has anyone had their TL aligned and one side seem it stuck out more then the other side? Before I had it aligned, it looked good. Now the driver side seem to be sticking out as if the same size wheel size are in the front as I have in the rear. They stick out some and don't tuck as they were before. The passenger side still looks great! ...... anyone?

2nd UPDATE: I purchased a EASTWOOD fender roller today to clean up the ghetto fender roll to allow more clearance with less or NO rubbing under suspension and when passengers are in the vehicle.

Here is a example of how it sat BEFORE alignment:

Here is several angles of how it sits now AFTER the alignment:

Passenger:

Driver:

I was asking AZ members for their specs and I didn't get any response so I went STOCK set up for the front. Should I have went 1.5 (-) in the front? Not that it would have made difference, but by EYE and appearance I know it would have.

2nd UPDATE: I purchased a EASTWOOD fender roller today to clean up the ghetto fender roll to allow more clearance with less or NO rubbing under suspension and when passengers are in the vehicle.

NO. As shown, the tuck side is the pass. side and the poke side is the driver side.
I am not a suspension specialist by any means. Do you think TIE RODS can cause this, just a guess in trouble shootin.

You took your car to the next level with those wheels and stance! From the pics I've seen your old wheels were ok, but nothing special. These new XXR's look way better and really bring out all the other exterior mods you've done.

Well, after wk today I am going to the shop to jack her up and bring that tire in neg camber to at least virtually match the passenger side flush dead even with the fender eliminating the top end poke. Since all the tow a judgement have been pinpoint I figure a little negative camber on the 1 side won't hurt anything as long as they look dead even.

I noticed on my rears wheels, my driver side looks slightly more tucked than my passenger side (with the same camber specs). Mine is not as bad as your fronts are but my wife noticed it while driving behind me one day. I figured it was the weight of me/gas tank that was causing the driver side to camber in some.

in regards to the camber looking more on one side of the car. if you look at mine from the rear, looks like the rear passenger tire has more camber than the rear drivers side, but they were aligned to the same specs and triple checked.

What kind of rear camber kit did you opt for, Josh?
I had that issue where it looks like the TOE is set too far positive and the front of the tire is pointed "outward". Turns out the 2 armed lower camber kits are not as simple to adjust since you have to know which arm to set first in relation to the other one.
Let's just say I'd get "perfect" alignment readings and on my way home the fender would be digging into the tire because it was set too far out.

This is why I opted for a 1 arm UPPER camber kit for the rear...no guessing, no bs...just brings top of tire out. I hope this isn't your issue.

Thanks for chiming in fellas To just give a UPDATE and answer everything at one time. I have INGALLS ball joint kits up front and SPC adj arms in the rear. My issue is not with the rear at all. Rear looks awesome!!! My rear end issue is rubbing due to the fender not rolled enough for this offset. My fenders in the rear where rolled for the 19s AXIS wheels I had. They were folded enough for function and nothing more then that.

On the way to work I was faced with a severe issue that I could not do anything about till I got off wk. My rears were rubbing pretty bad on the rolled portion of the fenders underneath. The top sidewall was rubbing flush with the fold which LUCKY!!! was in the same angle as the stretched tire sidewall. If it was even the smallest angel down toward the tire, it would have easily been disaster and possibly catastrophic with slicing the tire leading to major damage to brand new tires and possibly leaving me stranded either going to work at 230am or coming home from wk at 12pm.

So, after work today I headed home, dressed my baby and packed all his needs to head str8 to the shop. Laid down the 2x4s to creep'd on the rack and do werk son! FRONT DRIVER: adjusted with prolly a 1/8 in neg camber to bring that wheel in vs the problem and pics I posted above. Now, SPOT FREEKIN ON! Now, BOTH REARS: we removed the wheels and cut approx 1/8in slot/flaps in the folded/rolled portion of the fender in the approx points of 11 to 1 o'clock and rolled or "FOLDED" in this case, with a rubber mallet to a straight up and down angle leaving that small 1/8 or 1/4in straight edge coming from inside out or outside in...Depending if the glass is 1/2 empty vs full . Then tapped a slight bend in the remaining portions 11 and 2 o'clock spots smoothing out to the natural edge as the fender continues downward on each side...If this all makes sense. My major attention and work was dedicated in the 11 & 1 o'clock where the rub was very evident with rolled up balls of rubber was left from todays drive.

All of this is sorta hard to explain and type at this moment, but you guys get the idea. The sad thing is, I bought a damn FENDER ROLLER!!! And don't even need it. So Gabe @ TCTOYZ and I will be working something out for that among us friends So its all good! When all was done, loaded up the baby and creep'd off the rack just as carefully as I did when getting on the rack. The ride home was PERFECT! All suspension travel during the ride and turns was working as suppose to... And not hearing one bit of it while grinding my teeth every time my tires hit. The rear tucked away behind the fender flawlessly! I am HAPPY!

Following a GREAT productive day, there is still some work to do and attention given to the rear fenders still. All cosmetic, but some sanding painting and sealing will follow to prevent any further headaches with P&B work.

LMAO...No dude...I bought one. Its being shipped today. I had to perform STAT ER SURGERY on my fender since I was having extreme fender to tire melting rub. Came out AWESOME! Putting a squared "U" shape to the fender lip within. I will not be needing the FENDER ROLLER tool. But it will be used

Thanks for following me for so long on my thread...and finally posting. GLW your set up

IDK if a sweet spot can be made from here to SC but I know FLORIDA has a thread where someone is always trying to set something up but usually never develops from it

So...you were not having an issue with the rear fenders, but yes having an issue with the rear fenders?

I stand by my position on the rear alignment...be sure the shop that aligned knew what they were doing with the 2 armed kit. Trust me, you set one one way, then make the adjustment to the other arm. SO there's a LOT of room for error. I don't like it...personally. I'm glad if you stopped rubbing, just hope to not have a "my tires are fuxored" thread in 2 months from now from TOE being way off.

Also, why did you jump to buy the roller so quick? I'm guessing the dude is buying it off of you? Within 2 cars he'll have made his money back. Good deal...

YES I was having issues with the rear fender, Rubbing...Not rear alignment issues. But I feel ya when u are advising about the rear arms. For some reason no matter who I have EVER taken it to, the very next time I pull the wheel off for any reason I see on portion of the assembly is always loose. And I know I take my car to guys who know their shit. My main alignment guy (who was not available this week) has over 30yrs experience and is the one that 1st recommended the SPC for the rear. He deals mainly with full blown track cars, Drag, sprint, super mods, pro mod, outlaws...etc. But he knows it all when it comes to getting em straight.

The front is where I had the apparent alignment issues where the driver wheel looked to be poking out. And since, ALL has been fixed. Yesterday was a very productive day starting immediately after work...Baby toteing and all
