RS. I know it seems I may need the yellow but I have read bad reviews about the yellow. Even searching here on AZ some had negative things or experiences with the yellow. One gentleman said regarding OPTIMA batt. and AUDIO if you are not pushing 1000w+ a red is fine. Can someone confirm this information? I will be installing a system but a modest one. Definitely NOT 1000+ in wattage. (My only amp is a Image Dynamic i5800)
Read that too somewhere. I think iirc their has to do with the battery reserve or something like that. But a local shop here in NY that I trust put me on to the issuees optima has been having with their batteries. I had a yellow top in my teg and it was around when those popped up on the market. That battery then lasted me 7 years no problems. My brother got one last year for his rl and wound up changing it 2 times. A lot of people here are running the new diehard platinum which is made for electronics and such. I couldn't be happier.

dang....there's some serious cold cranking amps envy going on in this thread!!! HATERS!
LOL...I already know, to be honest, I had my original bosch leak fluid and then die (PROBABLY due to heat). This new one I've been running for almost 2 years and I love it. That thing fires up with authority.

If you've had 3 reds already, then I'm sure you know what you're doing. I'm running about 2200 watts RMS but I never use it to it's full potential and never have the amps turned all the way up.

huh, we discussed different oil?!
Condescension, that's the word I was looking for. I know you don't mean to, but that's how the majority of your advice comes across. And trust me, being "myself" in life, or online is not a problem for me.

Anyway, Jay...wth are you waiting for to get this going?!?!
you KNOW it's going to be a long build...just start prepping everything, you IB, you could build while you wait on wiring.

That's my plan. I may remove my seat and size up the shape of the panel and start cutting the shape and the 12in speaker hole...or something. I know, I will be starting something soon. I still have to lay the deadener in the doors but didn't want to do that until installing the actual components. And I didn't want to start the panel until I was ready to bolt it in...GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Just don't know what angel to tackle this from without starting the entire job from start to finish. I still haven't heard anything from DON at SDS looking for rear deadening material or a kit. I may just go by DYNAMAT locally And I didn't want to do that. I wanted to go with something thinner and higher quality as recommended. But we will see...

Patience Grasshopper...

Pissed as FAWK this morning already!!! I left my house leaving to work on my block I am noticing rubish and garbage debris on the street scattered here and there...Pass one item, another and another. Then there is a hair pin turn where I did not see another pc of debris around the turn and WACK!!! It was NOT just another pc of debris...I was a stone base of some sort (like a garden umbrella anchor base of stone...) Front ASPEC pass. side lip is scratched/damaged as far as I can see as it was dark, seems to be where the grey bottom trim is on the ASPEC lip. How bad? Didn't look too bad but was scuffed scratched up. I won't tell for sure till the sun comes up soon and I will step outside to check it out.

Oh, ONE MORE UPDATE: Looks like the Dr will be inducing labor May 7th,2012 since my wife wants to do all she can to avoid C Section labor. At this point, baby boy XAVIER URIAH VEGA presently weighs 8lbs. My wife's structure and size will not pass a 8.5+lb baby by the time the scheduled due date rolls around of May 10th,2012 without going through a C section delivery. So date has been up'd

AaronD81 here on az. He was selling them separate or together as a pkg with his SC door sills. I only had enough $ to burn on the pedals But still and awesome buy. Very NICE craftsmanship and def does NOT compare to some random knockoffs on eBay or sort.

That's cool With all that is going on; Dr office & Hospital visits for our last days, getting everything prepared (if that is even possible...) and my BDay TODAY!!! I will install them asap

Just a reg member getting rid of his personal SC accessories. I paid $75. Idk if that was too much since I have no idea what they went for or go for but I HAD TO HAVE EM because they were the real deals and not any knockoffs... Hope I didn't pay too much

Lil bit of fatherly business to take care of this morning at the Dr office pre-delivery meeting. Then my lil girl will be baking me cookies when she gets home from school today...and maybe, I will go to the sports bar with Gabe (TCTPYZ) to see the Mayweather vs Cotto fight... I have to REP my Puerto Rican fighter COTTO even if the lb for lb stats are against him

I only have one thing to say about that...
FK FLOYD MAYWEATHER. I don't care who he's going up against I'll never root for that tool. Someone should wipe that smug smile off his face.

I wish I could see the fight, I have to go out with my girl's friends tomorrow night.

That's why u are my brotha from another motha. I totally agree! Hate the cheaten dirty loud mouth!...But, I hate he backs it in in the ring, record wise. HATE THE FUCKER! I paid for his last fight and I was PISSED OFF!!! for that KO he threw to his opponent who was not even ready and the ref didn't even know wtf was going on and the bell ringer was the only one who resumed the fight. Dirty Boxing!
