No, they fit perfect! I sized one up (the one daym side MAD HATTERS had...) in the hole when we lifted the car up and it fit PERFECTLY! Including the curvature and flow of the bumper... But, total fail! They just can't seem to get R & L... Only the Rt is available.

No, all is good and legit with the Co. itself... check em out at LAWSON INDUSTRIES dot com. Nice shyt! Just not the pr of what I want.

No, I believe em... now what the problem is with getting ea. side... I have no idea but story fits from MH to Lawson Ind... Only one side and matching side is on back order with no ETA. Deal is done! I called today and the understood my frustration and could not come with a answer for me re: the other side, so INSTANT REFUND to immediate resolve the issue.

...The search continues for the perfect tips

in search of some kind of inspiration or idea, I possibility found my resolution to my exhaust issue or appearance improvement. I saw a guys thread here on AZ where all he did was lengthen the neck to the exhaust tip from the muffler, bringing the actual tip outward and flush with the ASPEC bumper. I thought to myself, "That was a amazing idea & improvement being that I actually like the stock tips but hate how they sit so inside the exit of the bumper".

So, this well maybe my next change or mod. Including a possible POLISH job bringing them to light and finishing the mod in all

^^^ exactly what I was telling Jeremy (RS143) couple days back....either it was in this thread or it was in his thread, dont remember but yeah, if you do not have any exhaust mods which make power, its not worth to spend on tips and labor alone....get the tips extended out and while they are off the car use NEVR DULL or Bar Keepers Friend on em to shine em up !!!

Bingo! All I have done is MID PIPE REMOVED... I have a ? ... If I removed the ressie also, how much more tone/sound will I get? Will it be dramatic change or just 1 step in tone/rasp more. At this moment, it sounds like a muffled G35. I am looking for more of the G35 PURRRrrrrr in acceleration. Especially, in the lowered to mid RMPs. I guess what I am trying to find out or want is a slight more aggressive tone. If it changes too much, I don't want to do it. And also, would I replace the ressie with another HI-FLOW or straight pipe? And if replace, why? Since the stocks are straight through anyways.

Thanks Anil or anyone chimes in

^^^ Go stage 3....it is the loudest of all setups out there and IMO sounds better....

remove the mid muffler and resonator and just replace it with 1 magnaflow/dynomax resonator....this will give you the sound you are looking for.....try googling some videos....

Definitely replace the reso with a Dynomax or Magnaflow. The straight pipe will give you too much rasp. I did the stage 3 and my buddy did the straight pipe and he can't stand the rasp, he's getting a Dynomax resonator ASAP.

^^^ you mean the stage 4 ???

Stage 1: replace the mid muffler with the straight pipe
Stage 2: replace the resonator with a straight pipe
Stage 3: replace the mid muffler with a straight pipe and resonator with a Magnaflow/Dynomax resonator
Stage 4: replace mid muffler and resonator with a straight pipe

apparently there is a stage 5 as well....
Stage 5: replace the mid muffler + resonator + both mufflers with a straight pipe....

^^^or that...I went with a dynomax that everyone uses, maybe i'll get a longer one and have the crappy cuts that got put in there taken out. I'll need to go to a reputable shop somewhere in Miami to do that though...tired of paying Tire Kingdom prices...

Why not just get Magnaflow mufflers while you're at it? Around $100 shipped for both IIRC

^^^ well the point is what will he be gaining from the magnaflow mufflers....it wont make his exhaust flow better....the sound will practically remain muffled....the only thing is he can get the tips of his liking and switch to the muffler....i thought JV was gonna do the mufflers with the tips, but in all honesty i feel its a waste of $150 (mufflers are ~60-70 bucks a pop on summitracing).....

also Jer....while you are at Rodney's i would recommend getting your exhaust tips moved back by ~an inch....right now you can barely see them bad boys !!!

u mean, Back = MOVED OUTWARD... (Comment POLICE!!! ) Since there is a fine line between interpretation and taking back as back inside toward the car, which would really look silly. LMOA

magnaflows > OEM mufflers anyday. He can weld his stock tips to the magnaflow mufflers. I have a couple sets of OEM tips I'd let go for cheap if he doesnt want to cut them off his oem pan.

Meaning if you go with the magnaflows (dont come with tips) and you dont want to cut the tips off your stock muffler. That's what I did but now I have removed those tips. Yes the ones I have are polished.

^^^ bro i completely agree with you....

magnaflow > stock but in an stage 3 exhaust why sweat it, is my point....

if you add magnaflows + tips + resonator (for stage 3), might as well get the 2.5" piping and make your custom exhaust....the point of a stage exhaust is increase sound within 100-150 bucks....

I see what you're saying. I bet he is going to get bored and want a deeper tone. Just trying to save him some labor costs by doing it at once and not doing step by step like I did

Ahhh.Ok I get it. The pans = dead ends of the muffler themselves. How much for the POLISHED TIPS...save me some serious time. I have polished before...Not fun! But then again, I did my entire aftermarket dual exhaust system from my 03 Terminator Cobra Never again.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... 4 of these sitting staggered would be pretty freekin hawt
