OP I think you have taken a step forward in the right direction with some of the mods on your TL. I would never want one on my car, but the roof spoiler flows well with your car. I think the quad pipes will look much better once you get the rear A-Spec lip on. I'm not a huge fan of the seat covers, but then again you are protecting your leather.

As long as you are happy with the car, that's all that matters. You can't always please everyone, so don't try to. Do what you want. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have planned for the car

I'm leaving the thread open. I'm sure some more of you will hang yourselves. Either follow the rules for posting in 3G or don't. 3G is not Ramblings. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. We encourage it but when you do it at the expense of others, make personal attacks and disregard the rules, we are not going to tolerate it.

 

Justin hit it on the head. Nice ideas, but it's about execution. Instead of doing a wheel cover, look into some wood/cf steering wheels. Not sure about the swappable wheels, but I know for the 6th Gen Accord, a lot of different Honda/Acura wheels can mount up to it (single stage airbag and dual stage airbag models). The seat covers look flat and cheap in my opinion. As Remi said, katskinz does nice work. Adding covers onto leather makes it look cheap. Do it right. You could even try dying the leather black or something, just don't use seat covers It loses all the contours, and cheapens the interior of the TL.

The exhaust, nice attempt (I think I know another member with an RL who has something similar) tried it, I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me. Maybe the diff bumper would help, but kudos to trying something different.

Loving the roof spoiler and tails though. Just keep modding and doing what you like.

qft. My Accord, or at least the plans I have for it, will make it a bit different with the mods I do for it (at least the combination).

Yet you banned two people for speaking their opinions. Yes I am sure I'll be banned for disagreeing with a mega moderator. However; things are said on forums that may be a little rough around the edges and taken too far. It's a little sad to see good folks banned for stating their opinions.

So, go ahead and delete this and ban me for speaking my opinion against the A-zine czars. Hopefully enough people read it before you censor it.

 

i should dig up some of the comments the OP said about my TL.

 

Are those covers on your seats or did you have them recovered? If the are covers where did you get them?

 

BTW Katskin does not offer anything for the 3g TL at this time. It will cost 6k for Katskin to pattern the 3g TL before they will offer the kit. They would need 60 pre orders to break even(direct from the director of new products)

People get banned when, AFTER posting their opinion, they continue an argument or pile on or harass another member.

People get banned when, AFTER posting their opinion, they go to other sub-forums and incite others to pile on and harass other members.

People get banned when, AFTER posting their opinion, they continue polluting threads and taking them off-track.

People get banned when they continue to do these things even AFTER a moderator has posted a warning in the thread.

And, FWIW, arguing with a moderator in public is bad form. If you've got an issue with a moderator's action, take it to PM. You might be surprised what can be worked out with a little communication.
