I like my headlights too... I think my ambers are TOO smoked though.
I thought there was just an orange bulb in there. I can't tell from the pics that you left the orange piece in there. It looks awesome tho I like it alot.

I like...

Very similar to mine, just you have black where I have grey and I have grey where you have black. We follow a similar theme though.

I actually wanted the shop to paint the lower section black like yours is but I guess I didnt convey that well enough to the owner and he wasn't there when I picked up the car so I'm still undecided if I want to go back to my original plan.

Now that my front grill is done, I feel I can post a pic.

Color-matched DGP trim and crossbar painted flat black. Also color-matched the silver trim above the plate in the rear.

I agree. Both of the best ones are on the Cream color cars. The all black grill on the cream color car looks great. And the grill that is Cream & Black on the cream car is great. But the all black on the NBP cars looks ghetto. And I have a black car! And the NBP cars with the grill that has the middle bar gone looks like there is a HUGE HOLE and it definately doesn't look right. And that's even more ghetto in my opinion. But most the white or cream color cars looks classy when they add the black. And it's an improvement. I wish there was a better solution for the black cars. Maybe chroming is the only way to go for black. but since my wheels are not chrome, I think the chrome may contrast with the wheels. So I will probably try to have little change in my grill. But maybe just paid the faded gray part, not any of the silver

I have the a-spec lip on a 07-TL-S. Has anyone tried to put chrome trim in the small groove in the black plastic next to the foglight? I think it would be a perfect accent, but I was looking for pictures/where to get it. Anyone?

here are some NEWER & BIGGER pics

I loved it especially with the Type-S emblem but I can figure out if I like all the layers/pieces at the bottom V of the grill. Is that the one you bought screwed on top of the OEM? I like the look but I want cleaner lines esp since I have NBP as well.

Here is what it looks like to me.

For sure, it is the ebay piece and nothing wrong with that. The problem is that it was not properly installed.

If it was properly installed, the two lips would not be visible.

Yeah that seems right, I forget if Accurate bought the right one or made it? I mean even in the pic below you can see how the grill part meets the bumper creating 2 lips but he has the bumper, OEM lip & new lip on top. If I have NBP you think I should paint the dark grey part of the grill below NBP? Or maybe just the top hood trim NBP & the rest get chrome or an aluminum finish? I'm leaning towards all NBP & the "A" emblem or a Type-S emblem in a corner.

Actually (and he explain this before), he got a 04-06 grill by mistake or something rather. He just tried to make it work. It wasn't a bad job, but it's noticeable up close. Obviously the same company do sell one for 07-08 TL's. I wanted to get one and saw them on ebay.

Acu-Rate that Type-S logo looks great.....but that overlapped look IMO doesn't look or flow right.

HUH? I hope those edges were fixed, that's a half job. My car, darksom's, mmade's PPLAPW, Accuratein's etc. all custom grills were cut just like that but you have to finish it off. Or else it is better off left alone in the first place.

Just did my grill and wing flat black today on my WDP. Got a little overspray on the bumper, but clay took it right off, so no worries. Came out amazing!

red trim

I am debating between making my grill trim either all red or red with a black center stripe. The red with black stripe is on the left and the all red is on the right. The right side looks weird because I still have the tape from painting the red over it. I will have a black mesh grill behind the trim. Or I can do red triangles to look like shark teeth?

It also deletes the "V" trimming as the grille is one piece you see in the photo.
For the cost of the eBay grille, you're better off DIYing it yourself and saving over 50% of what the eBay costs.
