FUQ YEAH !!!
I love the chrome 'A' with the circle blacked out...
I had the front grille painted NBP to color match and did the rear emblem myself

Was removing the grill difficult? I'm thinking of adding an aluminum billet to cover the underside of the stock grill or possibly behind the front sections as well. I saw how you mesh behind the lower signal light cover section very clean, could you relay the steps you went through to do that please? CDat or anyone who knows what I'm talking about? Much appreciated

I love colour matched grills
I feel like SSM and the stock grill match pretty well, and that it's not worth painting.
I don't doubt it would look even better painted SSM, it's just not worth it though

Thread Resurrection!
Just recently finished giving my grill a facelift:
Out with the old:
In with the new:
Re-vinyl wrapped grill pieces with "gunmetal" brushed aluminum wrap. stripped the chrome from the emblem and 4-staged it with adhesion prom., and plastic primer/base/clear. Black plasti-dip for the grill background, and converted to type-s honeycomb mesh. Plus. I plasti-dipped the emblem's background with grey and chameleon top coat for a twist. Hard to tell in the pics, it's very subtle. It has a transitional purple/green effect to it. I was very surprised to how well the chameleon and metalizer plasti-dip lines work.
....guess she's a goner...

Note: I was able to pop off the V Grille by just removing the radiator support plastic cover, unclipping the bumper tabs under the metal retainers and just reaching in and getting one V grille tab loose and they all came undone. Took 5mins and didnt need to take off my bumper
