Heck even Acura's stock image sits the same way as mine.

Yours sits the same too lol

I think it's just the shadows in my pics that pronounce it more.

That's why I asked if it's the picture or not
If you see the edge of the bumper on that level, than A-spec sits low
if not, just shadow

Now you got me wondering: Do I need to fix my rear lip or is it fine?

It's a bit low, you can see the lip from the bumper in this picture:

But it's not terrible. I wouldn't freak out over it but I would consider fixing it if you're bored.

I wonder how it would be fixed now, though.

I drilled the four holes into the bumper where the OEM marks were so those should be where they are.

Maybe it's the tape I have to re-adjust?

it's not bad. unless you're really anal about it and got time to install it.

but seeing all these slightly sagging rear lips got me wondering if I'll end up installing mine the same way...

I might give it a go tommorow.
All bolts and screws should be easy to get off since I just removed the rear bumper for my tail lights.

cut that lower tab off of your tails if you take the bumper off again, that way you can get them on/off MUCH easier without having to mess with the bumper in the future. Let me know how the tail fix goes too!

What are you guys looking at? The sides or the rear of the rear aspec?

Thanks for the tip!

They're mainly looking at the rear of the A-Spec.

I think it looks fine
Tell Tyler to go install his fkn coils already!

PS, anytime, man...honestly, it takes me 20 minutes to swap BOTH tails now...seriously, including swapping boards. Cut that bracket holding thing clean off of the entire light assembly, it affects NOTHING since the bumper holding bracket will then be permanently bolted to the body in the right place.

Whoa, that's fast.

I'll admit, it took me over 3 hours to install those tail lights.
The screws on the side; so little room

Also it took me a while to snake the connector out lol

I use a small thin flathead screwdriver to line it up, pull it out, and maneuver it into the new one...

I have never removed bumper totally, but even dropping each side was annoying. Now, NO PROBLEM...literally 10 minutes to do a light.

Thanks buddy

I didn't have an antenna there before (Canadian 04 TL; no XM).

Mine is just purely for looks, and some may call that ricey, but I LOVE the look.

This is what Sharksbreath did though:

Wow, I actually didn't know that haha. That's good, I thought you'd have to go through the headliner and all that crap.

I don't think it's ricey, it looks great!

If you push up the A-Spec lip? Does it move up?
or
When you take a close look at it, does it sit on top of that line on the bumper?

If it does, no need to touch it...

Like this one from close-up pictures

Get some close shots if you can.. let's see it

Mine does sit a little lower.

If I push up on the skirt it moves up a little but goes back down once I let go due to the mounting tape.

What if you throw in some JB-Weld in there and hold the A-Spec lip until it drys?

lol @ MEKO trying to get me to fix my rear lip since now he's fixing his rear bumper

I'll probably re-mount my A-Spec lip higher.
I have mounting tape I bought yesterday for the sharkfin.
It's not bad though, just checked and it could only be really moved up a few mm.

Jeremy....no problem....nothing wrong in correcting someone....I rather be corrected than wrong

@ Thanh....

and Meko...stay away from JB Weld, if you ever want to take the lip off (for whatever reason), you will tear the bumper and the paint off it....

Looks good Thanh!

I have the same saggy booty you had. Whats messed up is me and Anil put it on my car and it was like that, but I didn't really care (still don't), and then when we put Steve's on it was a PERFECT fitment

Oh well, you live and you learn.

lol thanks guys!

I think I'm going to attempt to install the RDX caliper covers today.
They don't seem like they'd take too long to install.
I'll be using screws, to be able to remove them easily when i have to.

If my base tips ever made their way back on the car, I think I'd do black on the inside too...easier to keep clean and gives depth.

Thanh...for sure, man...RDX are easy to install.
