Washed, clayed, polished and waxed the car the other day and installed the bumper inserts.
I need to readjust the LED's a little, set them a little farther back. But I have to remove the bumper and cut the air ducts behind them. Havent had time to do that yet. Also need to install a dimmer so they arent so blinding at night. Again, no time..lol
Also dont mind the messed up bumper paint. 82K miles on chicago streets will do that.

Thanks.
Anything in particular you dont like about the LEDs? They do look MUCH better in person, especially when lit. Everyone that's seen them really like it (in person).
I do wish they were slightly long.. Oh well.

Hm I appreciate the input. I know this sounds crazy but they look soo different in the camera vs in person. Not sure why, something the camera isnt picking up. They just look much less substantial in in those pictures..
The look I wanted was that of fog lights in the lower grill, especially at night (I run them then too). So these line up with the headlights really well. Long strips just wouldnt look right running with the headlights. But I do wish these were 7 LEDs instead of 5. Oh well.
I think what I will do is add some metal trim to the grill to help fill the void on either side of the strips. That might make it a little less awkward.
Oh and my cousin took a picture when I pulled up behind on the road. That captures the look I was going for really well, will post in a bit.
Next mod (after the back up camera) is going to be the a-spec kit.

haha not too far from the truth. And that's exactly why I wanted these instead of fog lights. Something different lol I'll accent them to make it fit in better.

To everyone else. I know they're a little different. They whole thing is a work in progress, I'm going to go get some aluminum trim and see if I can make it look like it blends in with the car. I think one issue is that there's nothing in those grills other than the lights so it just sticks out as odd. I'm wondering if the type-s grills would help to fill the void...
I really thought about the accord fogs, but I see everyone with them. Ya it looks good, I just wanted my car to stick out in peoples mind..for better or for worse lol.
That being said I did have a homeless guy stand in front of my car at an intersection, study the lights, then he gave me a big double

true...dump the leds....
the lights on the TL gotta be done in a very different "tasteful" manner....a lot of people have done AUDI style leds and only a few managed to pull it off....even thow they look good i think it should stay on the audi....
you car is neat...my opinion would be, loose the leds and spend the money on coilovers/rims/aspec kit/camber kit/exhaust/intake/and trust me the list goes on

I could see it looking somewhat decent if the LED's were on the very edge of the bumper, but otherwise, take off...
I need to wash/clay/polish/wax mine though...yours is nice and clean. Like you, havent had the time. Got 35% tint today and bought some OEM window visors. Going to get her detailed next week I hope.

lol oh boy I like the input. Ok I must be weird but I really like them..lol BUT I appreciate your comments sooo I'm gonna see how I can work with them to make it fit more.
So here's one idea that I came up with while at work. What if I add an aluminum trim to the center of the grills. Kinda helps to break things up a bit and draw the eye away from small size of the LED's a little. This is just a mock up with aluminum tape, this is NOT permanent lol. I'm wondering if the type-s grills might help fill in the space too?
I'll also listen to the suggestion of moving them outboard more. I'll push them out as far as possible, which does mean removing the bumper and what not, but I think it'll help. Also will make it so it doesnt stick out past the grill at all (i didnt like that either).

oh I saw that one, does look nice, but the fog and the LED kinda looks busy. However, the audi lights are something like $250 each. Slightly more than I'd like to spend.
I just need to find a way to make the edges more 'finished' i think. Might have to bust out the hammer and chisel and whittle something out of oak.. or fiberglass..lol Actually I'm serious about the fiberglass. Wouldnt be that hard to make a housing that blends the light into the surrounding grill. Painted black, mounted on the outer edge with the aluminum center might look good. I'll make a mock up from cardboard and see how that looks.
On a side note, I hate rain and bugs.

Ash, this might be an easy fix. Have you considered moving them all the way to the outside of the lower grill-under the headlights? That might do it....

I know a lot of people dont like it because its not OEM, but I wanted something different. Its not for everyone, just like how I'm not crazy about super lowered cars. Some love it, I dont. Same story here..lol
The car is a work in progress. Its not quite where I want it yet.

What makes it tough is that everyone that's seen it in person loves them, their only suggestion is to move them out a little (what I plan to do).
The only people that dont like it are folks that have seen it through pictures. I dont know what the camera is not capturing , but ya...
I do agree that they look aftermarket... which is what they are.. haha. Could they flow a little better, yes, and that's what I want to work on.
I understand some people are pure breed OEM look, but I want to see if I can tweak that a little.

ooooookk. Well I switched things up so the lights will be on the outer part of the grill. This definitely looks better. Dont have them installed right now, but I kinda wedged them in place and took some pictures. I thought about doing a 'false lens cover' but I think I'll skip that. I'll post pics in a bit. Car is without LEDs for now until I can remove the bumper. Might make some of you guys happy lol.
