Very nice! If I had wanted to install LEDs, that would definitely be the place! Can't wait to see final pics after everything has been assembled on your car.

Nice Roger. You have taken your experience modding the G2 Legend Sedan and encorporated the knowledge into the TL.

It's a Type-S so the fogs come like that from the factory.

Those strips look nice! Good job

actually those are 03-05 accord fogs that he installed. he just modded his grill and lower grill with the honey fill to look like a 07-08 TL.

I can't keep secrets so well so I will be posting plenty of pics and info for anyone that would like to attempt this. The light strips are OEM replicas of the Audi S6 lights.

I have an 06 so both the upper and lower honeycomb grill are from a type s. The fog lights are indeed OEM accord 03-05.

Oops, my mistake. Regardless, looks fantastic; has a real updated, modern look to it with those strips

I'd definitely be interested in doing something like this. How much did you pay for the driving lights? I found a set for $500!! from TMTuning.

Oh the first hater! Its ok I agree with you for the most part, but not with this! Its just too clean to hate on, better integrated then many of the Audi's IMO of course. Plus most of the Audis these days are incorporating LEDs in the headlights the location not the lower bumper.

the reason this looks so much better than the other cars who have tried it is because these are an OEM (well replica anyway) part, not a string of LEDs. However, I think having these AND fogs is wayyy over kill. Ive also thought of doing this mod, but with my new front bumper already having foglights, i opted against it. However, perhaps seeing it on the car will change my perspective. I remember ExclusivTL or whatever was doing this as well, but without the fogs...he fiberglassed the opening smaller...it looked really freaking good, perhaps yours will turn out the same!

I installed these on my RL. It's a bit shorter and less angle. Same output as OEM Audi. I'll post some pic tonight on my RL.

Ya unfortunately you cant do it without fogs on our bumper with this DRL because the lights start to curve way back to match the curve of the Audi bumper. Plus I really didn't want to give up fogs either because Im installing type S headlights too.

Damn Roger, you've been hard at work I see! What does Selene think about her living room being full of car parts?

I really hope you can make the Charlotte meet on Saturday. Check Page 10 of the meet thread for a Raleigh caravan which is leaving Saturday morning for Charlotte.

Not yet they are just wired to my upper foglight switch temporarily I didn't have time to wire it up properly. They come with a wire that cuts power as you signal though. I'm taking a break from car projects this week lol

i like, but combined with the fogs, makes the front end look a bit too busy during the day. would be nice if you could hide the housings a bit more, but props for being original-(ish).
