here are the pics from today. I like having them follow the curve of the bumper rather than be recessed but the light will shine outward kinda cockeyed.

Definite no go here.

Same effect can be done with car light on and you take the pic about a few yards in front of the car.

The car looks nice. Not feeling the leds though. Especially when they are off... it's totally not stealth

oh ya, I just wanted to show the look from other drivers perspective.

Ya off they are a little awkward... So here are my thoughts for mounting them on the side. They'll be recessed a little, but facing forward because the light would otherwise shine to the sides which would be weird at night. A black fiberglass housing would surround the unit so it doesnt just randomly end. That would be blended into the grills.

Dont mean to blow off everyone that doesnt like it, I just like being creative. Plus I have too much time on my hands

Alright, I removed the bumper and did the relocation. Looks better here for sure.

Regardless of what you think of the lights, should I paint that center bar in the grill silver?? I kinda liked it when I did the mock up.

personally i would hide them BEHIND the grill in the upper far edge with it following the curve of the bumper...it would look a lot more clean and even if it does project a bit sidewards...you would still see both LED strips from the front.

Ya its not for everyone... I'll keep them till I get sick of it or I see enough cars with the purple LEDS stuck to the outside of the headlights.. lol

I am happy how the chrome on the grill came out tho.

Panda- I tried that. It looks better lower because of the way the headlights slant downwards.
