Finally, complete Aspec Kit!!!
Finally, complete Aspec Kit!!!
I'm a rookie with the camera, so the pictures aren't that great. Still have a few more mods that I would like to do, but thought I would post a few pics for now. Stupid front plate law in Cali!
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking. Thanks! Basically what I'm aiming to do. However, it takes a lot to make this car look bad, since TL already looks sick stock. IMO

Thanks! Livin down in SD.

I love it too, but sometimes the off tone bumpers get to me.
I liked it even more when I started looking at other rear bumper lips like the toyota camry, which have that black section along the whole bottom. Makes me feel like the TL has something different.

thats a great looking car. good color and wheel style combo. the aspec looks great, too. i cant wait to drop my 4th gen on some wheels with the factory kit. im totally jelly right now.
I really like the base a-spec kit better. the front bumper isnt as bulky. I dont see the pic of the lip spoiler because i was gonna tell you it needs it but people keep saying how nice it is. maybe im missing something.
if you really dont want the front plate on the bumper, just put it on your dash.
as long as your license plate is visible it is legal..... I have a japanese plate on the front of my car, yet still no ticket (knock on wood)
I have my Cali plate Next to me JIC.
But, sexy car homie!

Thanks. You got a good eye, they are XXR 527s.
You got nothing on me!
Still love it, WDP. The rest of the car is stock paint.
The vinyl is a good way to go, I did mine that way almost two years ago and it still looks clean. Still want to paint it though. Where are you getting the vinyl from?
Nice to hear that that vinyl holds up good after two years. What brand did you use? I was considering painting it black, but I'll wait till I have to touch up the rest of the car, and have the shop paint the roof if I still love the black roof look.
Not sure where I plan on getting the vinyl from, maybe an azine vendor or ebay. I feel like 3M is the way to go based on other threads.

Would recommend it for sure. Took good "abuse" stretching it to cure the roof. I would suggest popping the windshield trim to get it laid under, so it doesn't start peeling up over time.

I cut an "x" in the center of the sunroof and then stretched it down. I cut it about 1/2" down from the roof line, it doesn't go all the way to the corners but it hasn't started lifting either so you should be cut with minimal overhang. The thought was far enough down where the travel of the sunroof weather lining wouldn't catch it
