Hi guys!

My name is CL and I got my 2008 ASM TL back in March 2012. It's a funny story how I got my car. I was originally aiming for an Audi A4 but things didn't go very well with the visits to the Audi dealership (snarky salesmen). Then after seeing couple of Acura TL's on the street and it seemed like a very nice looking car. So I went to Curry Acura and found this beauty. 38k CPO ASM TL

Then I discover this awesome community! Just love the fact how everyone here is friendly and eager to help a fellow TL'er out. And upon checking out the photograph gallery, my mod bug started. Without further ado!

March 2012: Stock TL



First Mod: Came out and found this



Had to fix it, it was annoying me so much. My poor wallet but it was worth it!

First official mod - Tints @ 25% all around





2nd mod - OEM Window Visors




I then installed Morimoto HID and fog lights but surprisingly I don't have any pictures at night. Will post some when I have.

Next step was rear lip and debadged.

I got the rear roof lip as well.



Of course, after seeing the plastidip frenzy, I couldn't be left out.



I knew the next big steps was getting the A-Spec kit. I should have gotten it way before. The ASM front and rear was discontinued. I had to get the front lip repainted and luckily and thankfully for Tim he found me a rear in ASM . So it was just the matter of repainting the front.

Gotta love an A-spec'ed ASM TL! Rims and a drop will do you wonders too when you get to it. Off to a good start!

car is looking good. get you rims and drop and you're set. what kind of car wash system are you guys using?

 

Throw in those LEDS. What roof spoiler is that? Link please!

 

Is just a power washer system. Blue color is call 'ar blue' and yellow one is 'karcher'.

Car looks great man! Just wondering though, how'd you dip your front grille? Did you just do the inner part? leaving the bar and outer shield untouched?

Haha, yeah she is a young one. She has a long, bright future ahead. Its been a quite period because of winter. Once the weather starts warming up, this baby is going to be spoiled.

Hey guys,

Been long time, have been very behind in mods. Been very conservative. Small update, after hitting a major pot hole in the brutal NYC roads, it was time to get new set of tires. My cousin also gave me a new set of wheels (Tenzo) gun metal for a really really good price and I thought I share it with you guys.
