Austin and a supercharger...
Yeah, that'll be the day! If he was too intimidated to "install" his own wiper fluid, that thing would just collect dust in his bedroom right next to his stack of XS Magnums.

Austin, I love you.
Dreem1er, thank goodness, man. Trust me, that's why I put a ring on it (no wait, her finger you fkn pervs!)

Super charger...turbo...boost is boost, but with gas prices the way they are turbos don't help, needing extra time to "cool" after driving...super chargers are the next best thing to having a prius

Thank you bro!!!

You know it's always a party once a greek is in town. You can buy some yummy VS-XX. I'll even help you out.

They are 20's, the 19's they had sold. But if your still into the gold rims with WDP TL then you can also look into a cheaper set
http://www.vrwheels.com/volk-racing-gts-p-4410.html

OR you can get 19x8.5 Stance SC-5IVE Rims with tires shipped for $1,900. Silver with black drum would look good on your car

http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wh...656&CheckFit=1

or you can do the all silver ones

Honestly, from what I've seen, people get a supercharger and within a few months are disappointed with the performance and end up parting out and selling the car and coming back with an EVO or STI or something with a platform for real boost.

Don't sell your car...don't get a supercharger (in the Xfinity commercial voice).

Already got the blower, and yes it's a short term item. If I wanted crazy power I would have gotten a better vehicle.

Oh, I'm not knocking it...I wish I had one. I just feel like every time I see someone get blown, they end up parting and selling pretty quickly.

This is 100% wrong. A supercharger is belt driven. Imagine putting a second alternator on, and run the ac the whole time, just to get boost.

Turbos recycle wasted heat energy. A properly sized turbo will use an extra 10% in city driving, and 2% on the highway. They have an extra 20-30% efficiency over a super charger as well.

Aside from the new TVS blowers, superchargers are nowhere near as efficient as a turbo. With a supercharger, it takes power to make power. Most superchargers out there suffer from tons of heat soak as well since the charge isn't cooled. However, I do like the linear power band that you can get with a roots style blower. I hate centrifugal superchargers with a passion.

and sadly, I'm all N/A all day so neither are true

My buddy just texted me...total Mustang freak (the one I mentioned)...he's getting a job at the Ford Dealership. Gonna be fun times ahead...everything at cost etc. He's already got a white 5.0 in mind and a vision for it. I'm still hoping he lowers this one.

First and foremost...BOOOOOOOOOOOST!!!!

Now that that's over with.

I feel there is some secret Mustang society that tells 90% of them to not lower their Stang.

No kidding man...I told him, he did 20's and no drop, and really he has only 2" of ground clearance with his steeda lip kit (or cobra, can't remember). I agree, but I'd rather have some performance 18's with a drop and no kit...wheel gap is the devil incarnate.

I boosted my last car. Can't say its something I'd ever do again on a DD. Huge money pit and reliability issues. I figure if I want a car with boost, I'll buy a car with boost.

Big part of the reason I have never pulled the trigger...
well, that and being a cheap bastid.

One day, I'd do it on a weekend car. Or buy one meant for it already.

LOL...welll, to be entirely honest...the size fits the body well (it's an 05)...let me see if I can find a picture. It's not the way I would do it, but it does look pretty good as a whole.
