Anyone ever seen a TL with the top painted black? I'm thinkin' about doing it to my SSM Type-S.

 

Vinyl is the way to go, Don't paint em until you fully like it to death.
However, try search button, there are several members with black top.

 

there are a few members with a SSM TL and a black roof. I'd do a vinyl roof before painting it. This way its less area to wax, less area to worry about the paint getting damaged, and also its peel off so if you don't like it after a while it can come right off.

 

I painted mine black but yeah you should probably vinyl it first unless you are sure you want the black. Personally I love it on my car and would never go back.

 

Once you go black, you never go back! haha

 

just do a simple photoshop...if not search, theres a couple threads i've seen
