Anyone thought of tinting 07 TL-S Tails? (pics)

I thought it would look a lot darker and meaner if the 2007 TL-S tails were slightly tinted, just like we tint the 04-06 tails with rockblockers.. so I photoshopped it this is how it turned out and I'd have to say it looks pretty mean and stealth.

any takers?

wow! I like it alot! yea with the NBP...the lighter portion of the type S tails look a BIT too bright. the tinting definitely gives it a little stealthier look.

Hey, that's pretty cool. Can you do a WDP? I like contrast too.

Here's a pic:

yeah the dividers probably are only visible in the day time.. at night it'll still be all black, which is kinda cool cause you get best of both worlds

Depends on where you are. In FL, if you can still see the brakes from 300 ft, they are OK.

Somebody on here already put rockblockers on S-Type tails, I don't remember who, but I remember seeing the pics. Looks good. It sounds like a good idea but the problem is that even the lighter tint is kinda too dark. Your tail-lights will end up looking like 04-06 tail-lights. Maybe you should get them professionally tinted very lightly to get your photoshopped effect.

Why spend the money on TL-S tails if you are just going to cover them up with tint ?

Looks kinda hot hot but I think I'd rather leave it as they are just because I like the contrast and not getting pulled over by the cops haha.

It was done...those tail lights are real, the PS is them on a NBP...the guy that did it has AM. There's no tint, either...he cracked them, mixed 04-06 and TL-S parts (to get all clear), sprayed with Nightshades (the parts, not the lens), and resealed them.

I tinted my tailights & headlamps blue. I wasnt sure if it was going to come out good or not but WOW. It came out better than I thought. Ill post some pics up when I get the chance. I was going to lightly tint it black but I thought everybody does that. It still wouldve looked good I just wanted somthing different. I also did the roof blacked out (vinyl) gloss black at da same spot.
