6x8 and 3x6 LEDs. Yeah. That's bright.

I got these the immediate Sunday after the events of CanAM. I originally had a 7 or so tower LED. After seeing some bright LEDs from... uh...
Andy and Kevin I figured I would go out and upgrade mine.

I was bored so decided to post some pics. All pics are from my Nokia N97 with no flash.

Up front:
Two 6x8 LED boards. So bright it may hurt to turn them on.

Trunk:
3x6 LED board. It may look like some LEDs aren't on.. but it's just the frosted lens.
Don't mind the mess... I was moving things around and had also finished a game of paintball.

License plate:
3x6 LED board.
I couldn't get them to fit in the plastic holder thing... I need to find a way to install them for the most light to shine through.

The rears and my doors still have the tower-LEDs.
I'm thinking of changing out the rear domes to the 6x8s as well.

I also changed my driver vanity-mirror light to the tower LED... it seems to be less bright than the halogen that was previously in there. Looks like I'll have to find a LED board that will fit in there.

I like the trunk light, but why do you need the front map lights so bright?

Yeah, it is really bright! You can see it shine through the windows and on to the ground... it's pretty awesome.

Hah! That's why I HAD to upgrade!

Thanks! I don't quite need them so bright. The tower LED I had was sufficient for extra lighting... but after seeing Kevin's and Andy's lighting... I wanted to upgrade my lighting.

The trunk lighting is a definite must get! SUCH a big improvement!
The license plate bulb is a nice touch---you should get some!

$22 or $25 Canadian for the 6x8 and I think it was $15 for the 3x6.

I purchased them at a shop in Toronto (Canada).
You may find similar LEDs on VLeds or eBay.

LOL... good question.

Though I am sometimes tempted to listen to an actual 'tape' for shits-n-giggles----I'm actually using a 'tape-to-3.5mm-jack' that is connected to my N97 for music. (The tape was $2.30-something after my discount! So why not, right? =p)
I don't have any of the fancy iSimple or whatever else there was again.
