On the drive out to my parents house I was able to see Erics car in motion..
I wasn't sure who was driving, you or the dog. I hope you don't mind me posting these...
It's hard not to miss this car coming up quick in the left lane.
This nose says it all......Get the F out of the way.....
And of course the newest edition to the car. The new plate....EPIC says it all

Thank you Sir. I'll have to get some more pics from different angles. It's tough to capture the mild concavity the 9.5s are producing.
There should never be an excuse for dollar pizza slices and dollar coors lights. How dare you give an excuse for such an opportunity son!
Holy fuckin tits is along the lines of what i said when i stepped back and took my first glance.
...ARC winglets... flipped the bumper upside down and just started drilling holes. Fairly easy install.
The dash was a tough one, and Jon can vouch as well. Me too, it'll be a relief to finally be done with it.
The two colors have their moments of superiority, depending on the light or time of day. Sometimes bronze is FTW, and sometimes gold is FTW.
No PMUs yet. Just waiting for a moment where i can pick my balls up off the floor and do the damn thing.
Reminds me of fsttyms1's 6MT conversion thread...a big fucking mess of wires and interior pieces. He pulled it all off in the end, and I'm sure you guys will, too. Look at it this way, what you're doing is a hell of a lot easier than what he did (that really helps, doesn't it? Oh yeah, you know it does ).
Eric, are you going to be around tomorrow or are you heading to Durham? If you're going to be around, I'll stop by on my way to my parents house.
Oh, 235's on x9.5's...that's some serious stretch there. Speaking of tires, I got the one I was looking at on eBay. It shipped this morning; however, it's going UPS, who is off tomorrow (given) AND Friday (WTF?!?!?!). Here's hoping next week is slow and I can disappear from work early one day and get everything taken care of .
Looks like this week will be the return of the devotions! You should look up the word devotion and be ashamed of yourself for keeping them off the car for so long.
Just let me know if youre ever down this way and we'll get up Hayes.
Thanks brother.
...you're right Jim, there will never be a complete state with this car. I'm sure there will be a time when she is put to rest, but never complete. There will always be that one modification that could have been done.
What's up RJ! Modifying cars is an expensive hobby aint it?! Thanks for the comments bro. I'm sad i'll be unable to make it down to Miami.
It's an effing disaster for sure! I'll definitely get some videos before it's over with.
I should get a semi professional guy to make a video clip of the car. haha carporn.
We'll need the luck in putting everything back together. Thanks Dat!
I love tits! Will do.
For shizzle my man! Hows your TL runnin?
Thanks bro!
haha OMGZ! Thanks man.
Jon, do you like how i predicted you would catch up to my TL around Greensboro! I thought that was awesome. I saw your wdp beast in the rearview and starting grinning. Your wifes comment about us being so gay and how we should get out and take pictures together on the side of the interstate was hilarious...i got a good laugh out of that one. hehe.
I'll let you know right now that is it highly involved!!
I'm sure the car will move rather quickly after the sc goes on. It feels great as is NA.
The navigation swap is definitely not the quickest mod in the book. It takes time. I wouldn't be attempting it without the relentlessness of Jon. There is no way in hell i could do it myself.
You'll see it one day...it's a small world and this car will get around. It sounds so good with the mufflers removed. Thanks!
Thanks Don. You're the man.

Those pics are the *removal* from the old car. They hacked it apart to get at the Navi and Navi Harness, then left it to .... uhmmm .... ferment (? ) .
The *new* car is looking good, and, I assume, running great. No Navi yet, but maybe soon. I doubt if the new car will *ever* be "complete".

So you might not make it!! dangit!! lol

Nice pictures of the dash Eric. It was a task getting every harness unplugged and taking the right bolts out to expose the underside of the dash. This car is not easy to remove the dash as we both found out. The harness is almost out.
Those rims are so sick Eric. I didn't get a chance to see them on the car. Eric was spotted over the week heading north so I got to see his car in motion with the stockies. Even the stockies looked sick.

Well they've definitely got some battle scars, so i figured around $250 each was about right... the bronze 8.5s retail new in the 800s.
The buyer can easily have them fixed and painted whatever color and be riding fresh for cheap!

So despite the record low temps, i went and hand washed the TL for one of her first set of pics on the new gold-i-locks. I've only got them mounted on the driver side right now you'll only see the car from certain angles.
The specs are 19x9.5 et43 disc 2 with the old 235/35/19 nitto invos mounted. The inside of the barrel is rather close to the knuckle, so the front tires have to be stretched. I'm trying to figure out the widest size tire i can run without it rubbing the knuckle or fender. For the rears, any tire size will fit. Maybe a 275/30/19 would look a tad nicer. Enjoy the pics guys!

haha sorry i had to share that excretion dilemna information with you on the phone J..i made my way to the other bathroom to find some toilet paper hehe.
Yeah dude, once i get those ingalls camber and toe adjustable rods, i'll bring the girlie on up there and let you align it.
You're always one of the first to make a comment. I love you Faiz.
...you have a good memory, +43 i think.
Tell wifey tell wifey!
I'm having visions of the 8.5 TEs on everyones TL. I think your car, gunmetal would be optimal, and on Justin's TL gloss black would be optimal.

Anyways, wow thats such a good deal for the bronze te-37s lol. Trade for 18x9 rpf1's? lol.
And i came at least 46 times looking at the new wheels.

Looks sick Eric. Major props on all the work!! It was amazing to see this car at the HIN where I met up with you and Faiz. And now after these changes it just gets sicker. I know Faiz is up to some crazy stuff on the wheel side as well haha. Both of your 3g TL's are amazing.

Looks good. I got my wheels on yesterday, too . Of course, I didn't wash my car...not only was it too damn cold, but it was after 6:00 by the time I got the wheels swapped. My wheels are clean, though .
$1k is a great price for the TE's. The curbs can easily be fixed DIY, or at that price, professionally, and you'd still have nothing tied up in the wheels. If I had a spare $1k laying around, I'd get them to be the ultimate wheel whore.
Oh yeah, check out Jen's set up...you've got to get rid of that stetch.

she's running 245/30-20 on a 20x9.5 (same offset)
soooo like I was saying eb... 255/30-19 front 255/35-19 rear... carryon
