Been lurking this thread since the start, and i must say that this is a crazy tranny swap lol.
If you dont mind some input of my
There is too many different colors in this picture.
Have you thought about trying to find some one who can make you the Rays stickers in PMU teal? IMO That would help it blend soooo much better.
Just a thought...good luck with the build/rebuild

Eric, I'm confused are you now keeping both cars? -and that's y you have 2 set of volks?
or
Are you selling the 5at and the bronze volks as well?
Btw, did you get a chance to talk to Honda's R&D team? Or did u get to peek under the hood? Who knows maybe they'd be willing to sponsor you!!

Wow your crazy bro. Im glad you didnt buy a Type S and decide to build that instead.
I got a question about your push start button.... Will it work with remote starters?

Just chillen..
Damn! Just plain sick! The engine bay is just insane! Loving the whole setup in general.. In the pic where your standing o the "side panel of the door" I thought you were that tall for a second. I'm like Jesus! Tall ass dude.. lol But anyway, I like the stock hood look better, and how's the acceleration gains on it? Congrats!

Stop, drop, and ROLL son!
In the closeup with the flash, all the details can be seen. But in person, when viewing the car from a whole, the small colors aren't very noticeable. There are so many things to look at that most people don't stand there and disect all the colors.
I'll be keeping both TLs. The 5AT isn't worth all that much at this point in time.
As for the volks, i'm not sure what i'll be doing with those. They've got so many battle scars that i doubt anyone will be satisfied in buying them.
I did not get an opportunity to talk with the team. They all seemed focused on getting the car ready for the race so i didn't want to bother them.
I'll be in contact with Honda R&D.. might look into purchasing their TL. I am predicting the one they've been running for 4 years will be put to rest, and i bet they'll be gutting an 09 for the track.
haha i took him to the vet yesterday, he loves going for a ride in the TL.

The acceleration is great, shifting through the gears makes it feel more torquee.

As for the schematic, i've got a few pages that my buddy at the dealership printed off his computer. It wasn't exactly what i think we might need to get it done, but ill let you take a look at it and decide if it's worth anything.

Night pics!!
Put the rebel xti and messed around with the manual settings under different lighting. Check them out...
This first batch the flourescent light is in front of the camera..
In this one, there is no solid light source. The emphasis is on the dippin dots store in the background...
This batch of pics on the bridge had various flourescent light, but none that were overpowering for a solid light source...
And the final batch was under a direct source of light, with the light above and beside the camera...
Good shit.
Beer time!

Looking good.
I've driven by your place 2 or 3 times (just in the area) and haven't caught you working on the car yet.

As for the push start button, ive located a spot where i'm going to mount it. Now it's all up to the dremel to get the job done.
Once i get the steering wheel air bag out and look at whats going on with the controls, ill figure out what to do from there.
Thanks for the info!

Attention Acurazine members!!
I would like to have a moment of silence....
......
OK.
Now.
At this time i would like to take the time and give everyone a pat on their back for everyones continued support and overwhelmingly positive comments in this thread. You guys are awesome. So thanks to everyone.
I would also like to share a response that I have just received over on honda-tech in a thread that i started earlier today. Check this out, it made me laugh out loud!!...

car looks ok and it looks like you've put money into it. seems you dont care what anyone thinks which is good.
but the car does look like total ass. nothing flows with it. the canards look like shit. the fake intercooler is retarded. you really need to reconsider what you've done to it and make it something else. you're trying to get love on a forum that mostly deals with tegs and civics. buy a bmw and call it a day if you have this kind of money. stop making that TL look like shit.
That's so awful!! But it's funny. I know the person isn't possibly being serious.
