You could have easily taken a look at the performance section. There are 1000 threads on this topic.

Anyway, congrats.

well break in time is pretty irrelevant to most people since its usually couple days or so. its like asking someone about the break in time when buying new shoes.

Here's my 08 tl type s xlr8 resonated catback that's the only mod in this vid besides the aem v2 intake. I recently added a xlr8 v1 j pipe haven't made a vid yet tho.

even the resonated version is fairly loud for a resonated exhaust (it's a really small resonator, 3" by 14") but a good loud.

it will sound nice with the jpipe but once you add on HFPCs or PCDs you will probably want to upgrade the resonator, at least that's what i did. with that combo (exhaust jpipe and hfpcs) it was hard to talk with passengers at certain times until i got the larger magnaflow resonator

congrats on purchase! it's still my favorite mod to this day

Dude I have had this exhaust since March. Sounds amazing, your going to love it like your mother. Transforms your car to a MACHINE! I love it man, its not loud, louder than factory, but its pretty dang nice. I would like it to be louder at times, but trust me its not overly loud. ZERO rasp, it gives you a nice cackle in first when slowing down, but its sick man. Your going to love it, just wait till you put it on, your going to be smiling so big your face is going to hurt! If you want to see some pics go view my build thread, its my third post on it. My VERY first mod really lol
