The rear mount takes the least abuse of the 3 mounts.

I dont think those vibs will settle enough to not be noticeable. If they bother you that much then you may be better off leaving the stock rear mount in place with the vacuum line still plugged in. Plug the other vacuum lines that went to the front and rear mount and youll be good to go.

Anyone disagree?

Grab the 60a and see how you like it. I highly doubt the xlr8 mounts will go doughnut. If you go with innovative and they doughnut you can always upgrade the bushings for free
LOL. With the 75a xlr8 side/rear and the innovative front 85a, I get some heavy massaging while in drive at idle. In neutral it feels just like stock.

yes im hoping they calm down a bit. i obviously was never expecting a liquid filled vacuum contolled ride but dang. harmonic noises from the exhaust are way up too.
on a performance note the mounts turned the car into a rocket! i was coming out of a turn and hit it, the dang traction control came on!
cant wait til they settle in. getting new pirelli pzeros on there tomorrow. had to order them. i've had pzero m+s on there for a while. they are now putting "sipes" on the tire and rebranding them pzero a/s. still a 45k mile tire supposedly. with this toe problem i've got i've never been able to get more than 20k. great tires though.

Just installed the 62A front engine mount and did a drain/fill (not flush) with Redline 75w90 oil (has LSD additive). Made a world of a difference, and the shifts are much smoother now too. 3rd gear hasn't popped out on me yet and 4th gear seems to have stopped grinding when it's not warmed up
The mount vibrates just a tad more than the busted stock mount it replaced, but it's well worth it

Anyone have a factory rear mount with low miles/no cracking that you dont need anymore? After having these mounts on the car for a while now they just havent broken in at all. Looking to get change the rear mount back over to original. I'm currently replacing all my transmission mounts. They top one was broken all the way through 3 outta the 4 points. The rear bottom tranny mount seems to be torn as well. Hoping after those are replaced the car settles down a bit.
PM me if you have a mount you want to part with.

$300 shipped is a great deal.
I scanned through this thread, but didn't see what I was looking for. Excuse me if I missed this, but are there any plans for a full, one-piece cnc billet aluminum mount set in the future, Josh?

I just installed my XLR8 75A mounts on my 06 M/T. The build quality is nice, and the fitment was even better. This helped the install go well. It took me about 2 hours of total install time. The vibration isn't bad. When the A/C is on at idle, it is more pronounced. My shifts are much smoother now. Thanks, XLR8!

blah!
What did everyone use to plug the vacuum hole?
For those who went from 62a to 75. How much did vibrations increase by if you were to put a percentage on it somehow.

on to some tid bits about the install
REAR MOUNT VS FRONT MOUNT
Note: the bases are symmetrical BUT you will have to rotate the floating bracket for the rear mount (this may just have been on libert69's mounts) it is just how the manufacturer put them together...
SECONDLY... the passenger side mount has a 19mm extra long bolt w/ corresponding 19mm nut... NO IDEA WHY IT IS SOOOOO LONG, but the way it came assembled didn't allow for the chassis firewall side bolt to be installed, so we flipped the direction of the long bolt and then it was too close to the ps reservoir...... libert69 and his dremel
AND THE FINAL SHOT
TEST DRIVE: wet pavement, zero wheel hop... we had fun finding new rattles every red light... 75a bushings by the way

i love my 75As in my 04 Accoord...

Since I got no one on the last q, I'll try this one instead. I've been told that the mounts are both square nowadays instead of one having circle shape.... True? Or are these two squared mounts screwing me?

Just found out today my mounts are busted..
So, how much more vibration can you feel with the 62A vs. Stock?? This is my daily and I prefer close to stock vibration vs. more vibration with more noise.

Despite the vibrations, I think XLR8's mounts are a great mod. Regardless of transmission type, you will see an improvement in throttle response and a noticeable improvement in handling at low speeds. In addition, you won't have to worry about the stock mounts exploding any time soon
You should give them a shot. I promise you won't be disappointed with the results.
PS: Here's my review of the mounts if you're interested: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/review-xlr8-engine-mounts-846384/

I have the 62A durometer mounts in addition to the engine torque damper and, like Hi Speed said, the vibrations aren't bad at all. That said, the vibration will be very noticeable when you first install them, but will subdue over time as they "break in".

I just bought all 3 xlr8 75a mounts because my front are busted without much research what I've read so far is that just replacing the side and front mount with the xlr8 75a would be just necessary due with the rear it will cause more vibration so i will just replace the front and side. Is this be recommended?

First off, this is a pretty good thread with useful information. I would like to ask because i didn't see it being answered. Like what other users (Stillhere153), (TSILL) had notice that on the side mount the Bolt is too long and had to cut it down some. Had this been addressed? I want to order a set pretty soon, but just wanted to make sure i didn't have to make some custom adjustments when receiving the item. Thanks in advance, Billy.
