eh, not worth the money. Should get a J-pipe.

Is that neon underglow beneath your car?

Good starter mod...something simple. Plus it will pay for itself the longer you have the car because you won't have to keep buying new air filters anymore. Also if you plan on gutting the exhaust in the future you should open up the front end some so the engine can breathe.

YES!! Ten times out of ten, I would do a CAI mod again.

WHP gains? Meh, whatever. A few HP here a few there, it all adds up a little at a time.

Personally, I like the noise.

Plus 11ty billion!

The intake noise/supercharger whine on my Bonneville I had before my TL after doing a fender-well intake was out of this world. Plus, for all the naysayers out there, while it isn't a noticeable increase in performance, it does smooth throttle response and provide a good starting point for further mods. Who cares if your exhaust can pump out more air if the front side can't bring more in?

Bearcat-What CAI do you have installed and any issues with rain/snow as I have the AEM V2 but haven't installed yet due to the issues of hyrdolocking.

^^^ you can cut down or raise your CAI to prevent this issue. Most hydro locking I have seen are from driving thru 2+ feet of water.

I could be wrong, but to draw enough water completely up the CAI to hydrolock a motor, I would expect that the filter would have to be completely submerged.

If your car is lowered and your area floods, it is a valid concern. If you're at stock height, I wouldn't even think twice.

I don't think it matters much, they're all pretty much the same, but I have a Fujita F5.

In order to hydrolock your motor you would need to suck up water through the intake, which would require you drive through 2-3 ft of water.

There's a number of intakes on the market. The most popular for us is the AEM V2.
