V2 install problems

Hi guys, first let me admit that I searched for half hour how to remove the bumper or how to install this thing without removing the front bumper and can't get a good answer.

Anyway, I have my AEM V2 in my driveway with my car. I have taken off the air box and the filter, all that stuff and have disconnected the resonator box in the front the vehicle by going through the wheel well. Now I cannot get the resonator and stock tubing out of the front fender. I have the wheel well molding off because I didn't want to take the bumper off but I am really having a hard time here. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to get these stock tubes out or how to remove the bumper?? (I would rather not remove the bumper though)

THANK YOU!!

go down to CAI install link...you will need to remove the bumper...its not hard...just a bunch of clips and screws, but it can be a PITA.

Removing the bumper makes life so much easy when installing a CAI.

Fwiw, I never removed my bumper and installed the Cai rather easily...just pull back the fender liner and under-bumper shield and you should also remove the resonator easily...

When searching for a DIY, that link is almost ALWAYS the best place to start.

You would've found a bumper removal DIY & Video in about 3 seconds.

That link is well worth bookmarking.

Thanks for the tips guys!!

I was actually able to do it without removing the bumper. My issue was that i did not realize there was another bolt way up in the middle of nowhere for the resonator and I had to drill out that little rivet thing. Took me longer than expected but she is installed.

As for the bumper thing, the reason I didn't want to do that was because I have had bad lucked re aligning parts before on other cars and didn't know if the alignment would be a PITA.
