Twin Turbo TL anyone?

The current Z06 is on average quicker in the 1/4. The new ZR1 should blow it out of the water. I'm interested to see how the GT-R responds to simple mods since it's turbo'd.
The Comptech blower is not the best for our cars power wise, it's the only FI available. If that makes it best, then so be it. A turbo running the same boost will make more power across the board.

simply put, these engine bays are CRAMPED. where would you be able to put a turbo? let alone two?
the downpipes, would also be a serious problem that would cause for some engine bay cleaning/modding such as removing the battery and maybe other accesories (a/c or p/s)
I dont think we will ever see a twin turbo 3G TL.... hopefully, but not likely....

LS6 in a fucking CIVIC!
RB26Dett in a S13
2JZ in a RX7
2JZ in an S2000!!
Its not that its impossible, it definately is its just people are lazy and don't want to put the effort because they are scared, but thats part of pioneering something. Personally if I had a TL I'd turbo the bitch in a heartbeat but I don't, I have the younger Red-Headed bastard child of the Acura line (RSX-S). I'd be more worried about engine management. Tuning EMS is rocket science, this is coming from someone with basic K-Pro knowledge though. Galant VR4's in japan (99-03 bodystyle) came with the 6G72 (3000 GT VR4) Twin turbo V6, I'm sure with enough R&D it can be done without having to sacrifice too many accessories.

the comptech blower is Ehhh because its driven from the totally opposite side... to me a blower isnt driven from the opposite side of the belt driving components its on top or actually part of the drive system...for example: they replace the alternator with the sc and move the alternator somewhere else..... theres a lag from the comptech sc because of the rod driving it I think theres a lot more potential and room for power. personally id make the whole manifold into a sc without having to modify the hood.... a hell of a lot more power would be delivered....theres no rod.

This is the first supercharger i'd prefer over a turbo. The whine is HOT, if MTM made a kit for our car, I would of gotten just for that!

All I know is from what I've seen, the CTSC for the TL is a centrifugal, and I have a Roots. I love my Roots...

Yeah I agree with you, I am not a fan of the centrifugal type superchargers, they do have a lagish feeling, but the Roots are the shit man. Ive been in a 300whp GT3076R rsx and it was fast by all means, and it didn't even lag that much, full boost by like 3200. My car if you romp WOT makes you look like your having an epilleptic attack haha. I love how violent it is.

The Cobalt SS is a piece of trash. I was going to test drive one, I got in the car turned the car on and moved about 4 feet, stopped and told the dealer I was all set and that I wasn't looking for a car built from Salvation Army leftovers. The transmission is god awful, clutch is weak, interior design is ugly and the build quality....I could have done a better job if I drank paint and shit all over the interior.

its impossible, other wise they wouldnt have designed it that way. notice how the one they make for the ridgeline sits on top of the manifold?? because there are no clearance issues.
oh, and the alternator isnt moved on the TL to accomodate the blower either.

and the 2jz in the s2k was not a working deal. the people who started putting them in there got sued if i recall correctly
2jz in the rx7, you have to move alot of shit and fab some more stuff
the ls6 in the civic, i believe your reffering to 'civette'? he was at Import Alliance and i talked to him for a bit and if you notice, the entire dash was pushed back almost 3 feet and he has corvette interior also
the thing about the engine be too cramped, could you not run a rear mount set up and have room. there is a couple spots under the TL that you can fit a turbo.

I honestly figured you were going to say that but there's too much junk over there to run piping unless you remove the wash reservoir and even maybe have to move the power steering too. Why not just run both to the driver like the RSX and even ACCuratin's SC one?
