Do you realize the post you quoted is nearly eleven years old? The odds of @banelba responding to you sit exactly between slim and none. Why? That member hasn't logged in here for nearly ten years.

If you really want to turbocharge your 3G TL, and you have a manual transmission (if you have an automatic, don't even bother), then you're going to need to go a full custom route, and it ain't going to be cheap.

I wanna turbo it but I do not wanna blow my engine so anything to make it faster but still safe on engine would love some help already done simple stuff like exhaust I still have regular cats and the j pipe but pre cat delete all the way back and cold air intake just wanna make it faster.

Turbo it and do boost under 10.5psi? Or Supercharge it. These TLs came with an optional Comptech supercharger. Though you have to look to find them. Or you could get a Rotrex kit from Gerzy Bear.

The car comes from the factory with a cold air intake. If you have a tube with a cheap foam filter, you're letting dirtier air in the engine.
