Stock mount vs performance mounts

does anyone have performance mounts on their TL? and how does it make the car drive?I had red polyurethane insert in my civic and it made my wheel and dash vibrate at times.I thinking of going with the XLR8 performance street bushings 62a for daily driving.

I replaced mine with OE that are not liquid filled. There are some viberation but nothing crazy like poly mounts. Not sure if they make it for the TL tho.

Just wondering do you guys cap off the vacuum line that goes to the mount?

Yes you cap off the line to the mounts if going aftermarket.

I am running XLR8 75a mounts and like the slight increase in vibrations inside the car. To me the car feels more aggressive, once you turn the AC on at idle the vibrations get pretty bad, but revving to 1k solves that. You could go with the 65A mounts for less vibrations while still being stiffer that stock.

How are you capping off the line? I don't think my Mech did it since he was like WTF when he compared the mounts. cap the hoes or the nipple?

I think I bent the line over and zip tied it.

If he didn't cap the hose, then you would get a vacuum leak at idle when the valve opens up.

I would cap the vacuum nipple on the manifold. You can unplug and remove the whole valve assembly without throwing a CEL.
