Stage 3 (Dynomax) done ... but now I have a problem?

I had the Stage 3 for about 3 weeks now and I loved it in the beginning, but now the sound is not as loud and I have a hissing noise/rattle, can't really make it out and its getting on my nerve now. Anyone else experience this? What could it be?

A leak, bad hanger on the rattle or a heat shield loose.

it might be one of the 3 cats deteriorating, but it would have thrown a CEL.

Exactly.

I'd take it to another exhaust place for an opinion.

I agree take it to a different exhaust spot, they should do free estimate... Have them check the hanger location, make sure they reused the stock point... Fultermore you can remove the rear heatshield as it is not necessary... My best guess would be he didn't do the top welds correctly

Alright ima get a second opinion. I feel the noise is more pronounced when you drive for the first time after the car has been parked for a couple hours like in the morning. How does one make sense of this?

I just had it checked out again, and they found on small little hole and welded that close but that still didnt solve the problem and I still have this annoying sound! Driving my crazy, they dont know what it is but they can heart it. I dont know if its a rasp, can someone describe what a rasp sounds like?

Does Dynomax resonator give you a rasp?
