3rd cat delete isn't just a fix it ticket.
it's 'pick up your car at impound' ticket haha.
It just happens if you get unlucky.
Regarding the smell, it smells a lot for the first 2 weeks ish after you get the jpipe installed. I've made about 4 jpipes on my accord before richie started making his products and they've all smelled really bad when i first installed them.
in cali, it's a 50/50 chance of getting caught.

Congrats on your first performance mod. This is my only performance mod as well and no, it will not add drone or rasp, just a very slight growl. Of course this comes from a 3.5L viewpoint. Have fun!

I think I've read somewhere in this thread stating that you'd only feel the increase in HP if you rev it over 3k RPM. Would anyone confirm that this J-Pipe add HP to either lower end or higher end.
Thanks

They will both have approximately the same low end gains, the PCDs will have more top end since that is when the engine really breathes. The PCDs make power the entire powerband band. No power is lost, some people feel there is lost in low end power since the top end gains are so much more apparent. But every dyno I've seen you gain the entire powerband.

^Both mods make the band more linear too, right? MY bonus gets here anytime and I'll be giving you a call Richie! Finally some time for some "go" mods!

Also, it's good to know others use that odd spot on the right of the trunk tray to store stuff so it won't roll around.

Hello everyone! I just bought my 08 type s about a week ago and I absolutely love my first Acura. It is an absolute "panty dropper." I'm really interested if anyone has had this jpipe dyno'd on a type s and what the gains are. Ordered my aem cai yesterday and I think this may be my second mod purchase! What gains would I see with this duo? Or should I be looking at other performance mods? I also have been looking at megan catbacks for the car. Good or bad catback system?
You're in WI, do you board in the winter? Crazy kid.
