blah!
no rear bumper? No problem
Looking sexy.
So all the pipes just slip ontop of each other right? No spot welding needed?
Can't wait to receive mine. Going to ceramic coat (opti-coat) it to start. I really hope none of my JPipe or converter bolts are seized..

blah!
ahh awesome.
WHERE ARE THOSE VIDEOS?!
I just figured I'd ask since the header in my rsx was spot welded to give it some strength. It's also similar to the exhaust where it just slips on with clamps - but some have reported tubes coming loose. I'm a pretty good welder so it's not a huge deal. I could always grind it off and clean it up and polish it if I ever needed to take it apart and sell it.

go pro footage being edited. will be available in the next few days
Edit*
Brianch, not sure how the Rsx pipes were constructed but Richie Spent a lot of time labeling the pipes(etched) and making sure that proper fitment and tolerance is spot on.
the pipes slide into each other with ease and you will know that they wont come apart when you clamp them down.

He includes a packet; but its not really instructions.
it just says to match up A to A, B to B, etc.
following the picture was harder than actually just figuring it out on your own.
and again they are labeled. A comes first in the alphabet so; thats the first piece you put on.
This was my first time putting on a bolt on catback.
Richie really made it easy.
if you can recite the alphabet; you can put these on.

to me; inside the car; it sounds the SAME. LOLOLOL!!!!
it still has the distinct characteristic raspyness that Ive come to love.
However; it sounds completely different outside the vehicle.
my mom noticed it right away. "eww, last time, it sounded ugly. now it sounds better. more classier, like it's supposed to sound"
the sound is deep. how do i know this? i set off a car alarm passing by
I will need more seat time to fully appreciate the exhaust. I am taking a road trip on friday to meet with other acurazine texas members. There will be a bumper waiting for me

TBH, I've never been impressed with any of the aftermarket exhaust options for the TL.
You were stock + Jpipe + PCDs before, right?

I miss being able to do that I had a HF Cats and a Flowmaster 10 series muffler on my Dodge Ram hemi dumped after axle. It was a monster! sounded like a boat how it gargled.

I like it deep. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being stock base TL with PCDs & Jpipe 10 being a V8 Mustang with Magnaflow, where does your car fall now?

I cant place the scale yet.
lets change the v8 example, because our cars will never be rumble like that.
like mentioned; to me, inside the car it sounds the same.
its not loud, but once I pass 4k RPM it rings out.

JJH....all your questions are pretty subjective....
I like my exhaust to be loud (because racecar)....a lot of other folks dont like it that loud...some like an aggressive tone at higher rpms and super quite in the lower....some like the rumble...
So I would suggest look at the clips from members...check out the clips which folks have from PCD's and PCD's + Jpipe and Full exhaust...listen to them, compare them, listen to the stages and see what you really like

I love that rumble I get <3K rpm...then the car realizes its not a big 5.0 V8 but a tiny 3.2 v6 aaaand fart mode activates until 3800-4000 rpm....
dammit I need videos already
well an objective person will never ask an subjective question so maybe you are an objective person masquerading a subjective person which is behind an objective face?
