Meh, I agree with both sides on this one. On one hand you don't want to pester the guy because more time B'sing with updates delays productivity. On the other hand I think people just want a set date that these will be delivered. I know people have to have the money set aside so they want to know when they can expect to pay the man. It should not be hard to set a deadline for things when this is your business.

But I have no dog in the fight, because I am too cheap to get this exhuast.

Oh and for the record I have seen houses built in the time it takes to produce these systems.

what makes anyone think it would be any different than the first 2 batches? they were all ready and shipped well after the promised date, but everyone eventually got what they ordered and everyone shut up bc they were so happy with their new exhaust.

everyone will get what they have put a deposit on, Richie isn't a huge shop with 100 workers fabbing up these exhausts. perfection takes time.

everyone keep your pants on and keep waiting, there is nothing else you can do anyway.

I'm trying. I've been good up until now. I'm not mad or anything at rich at all and I'm not bitching. I'm just simply curious as to when we can expect. I'm antsy! My car sounds like a dying civic right now due to the hfpc and jpipe combines with a modded factory exhaust. It's embarrassing. I need this so I can drive again lol

Aaron, we all know Richie has delivered and there is no doubt about his credibility, nothing wrong with asking for an update...

I am pretty sure this batch of the exhaust will be awesome as well and the users will be very pleased....I am also pretty sure if Richie could hire few folks who can help him out by building these exhaust a little bit quicker, he would get a lot more orders which is always good for business

I wasn't doubting his credibility. I've sent the guy tons of my money over the years. This was never about whether or not these people will get their exhaust. After the bullshit with Rodney and the ECU, I don't really think you have a leg to stand on so keep your two cents to a minimum, maybe just a penny would be better.

I also didn't say anything was wrong with asking for an update. I merely suggested that everyone be patient and they will get what they want in the end.

Oh and awesome advice for Richie, hire more workers. I bet that thought never occurred to him.

Agreed I can't even count on my hands and feet on how many times I've heard "I'm not waiting for that long " from other members. richie could sell so many of these things if he could push them out faster. It takes a special kind of person to wait months and months for an exhaust that costs so much.

about being patient, delivery date was supposed to be last week and folks are still waiting to make a payment, hence the excitement turning into "any updates???" ....

and since none of us have a horse in this race, we BOTH should only throw a penny here and leave

and HONESTLY; it wasnt a delivery date.
it was a expected time frame. a time frame. Just like how the cable guy gives you a time frame of a 3pm-5pm window.
also, deadlines are sometimes not met.

Mine only screams rape between 3-4k rpms. Luckily it's not the whole rpm band but those are the most common rpms the car is in. I can't stand driving past the stupid civic hangout in my town sounding just like if not worst then them

As ALWAYS in cases like this: communication is vital. Tell people "they will begin shipping tomorrow" or "I think they will be ready in 2-3 months" or "I really don't have an ETA yet, but I will post another update in 2 weeks".

It doesn't sound like anyone is getting out their torches and pitchforks due to the time it's taking to deliver these. They are just getting antsy due to the complete lack of communication.

I can agree with logic. I just want a time frame from richie that's all. If the cable guy is running late most people like a courtesy call. I don't need a personal call just a "hey guys hang on for 2 more weeks" would shut me up, for 2 weeks at least lmao!

Correct, but what exactly is almost there? 1week? 1 month? 3 months? I think most of us that are on edge (me being one of them) are only being like this because of his past batches going so for over scheduled date that we are worried its going to happen to us. And if that is the case we would just like to kno. It's summertime and I want to go to meets and drive my car but I won't when my car sounds like a raped civic. That's not Richies problem though I'm just explaining why I'm so antsy. I put my deposit in in October and never said a word about it until now. Does that deserve some credit lol?

it looks like he doesnt have the process down yet.
we can expect from batch 1 and 2 that it will go over schedule.
deadlines are sometimes not met. trouble with welders, trouble with equipment, trouble with test car, etc.

there are probably lots of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that we dont know/dont have any control over.

p.s. I dont daily my car, so my exhaust problems arent thaaaat bad. lol
but when ever i do drive, i am embarrassed.

I already was expecting it to go over. But from what I heard other batches were 6 months to a year over due before they were shipped. I just wanted a estimated date so I kno if that's going to happen to us. Cuz if I gotta wait another 6 months to a year.......................ATLP

Justin, I totally agree with you... I think everyone should be patient as this exhaust is gonna be awesome and Rich has always delivered.. However nothing wrong with asking for an update.... Anytime someone ask for an update you post up "hold on to your horses"... I think it's been more than a month they have had an update... It just takes a minute to log in and post something up....I bet everyone has a minute ever 2 weeks or so... .

The fact that I bought my Type S about 3 weeks after the 1st batch rolled out and I found someone who waited forever, bought it, then couldn't afford it. I swooped it right up and haven't looked back since.

I even felt compelled to put a rv6 J-pipe on the front of it.

He even tried to sell it at a markup. Bought it for what the original price was.

I have had my TD's on for quite some time now and am still very happy with them. I also had to wait for a long time while the exhaust was in its initial production. I am sure that the boys at RV-6 are working as had as they can to get the product out. You have to trust this... Let the man do his job and stop texting him every day/week etc...

I do agree that communication could be better, but in the end, nothing is better then the RV-6 exhaust. Be patient boys and girls and before you know it you will have 3 boxes sitting at your house waiting for you to open them. At that moment you will know that it was worth the wait

Would it help you all if I said that I spoke with him and he said that the exhaust will be shipped soon???
