Can somebody help me understand this better.
I know each car is different and dyno data varies by the minute and so on.
This exhaust paired with a Jpipe is supposed to yield on avg
16 WHP peak gained
19 WTQ peak gained
From the Jpipe thread
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/rv6-v3-long-tube-j-pipe-release-04-08-tl-all-trims-%2A%2Aupdate-page-4%2A%2A-773591/
13 WHP peak gained
7 WTQ peak gained
15 WHP average gained
12 WTQ average gained
Looks like not much additional gain to HP more on TQ?

We did however get our exhaust clamps back from hard coating anodizing and laser engraving.

Richie, any chance to purchase another set of the set screws? Mine are slightly stripped and I can't fully tighten. Are they 3.5MM allen wrenches? It's an odd size and I purchased an allen wrench for this finally, but originally made due with a 3MM.

The 3.0" inlet is $125 more.
I've stopped giving ETAs they are just bad luck. However it should be soon, everything is moving along smoothly now.
Next week after we get the tips etched I will post pics of the final version. I wouldn't want to further confused anyone.
I will consider a base tip design after we complete this second batch and go through the numbers. Again this project behind schedule and the costs are starting to over run. I would say this system is 3x as complete as any other competing system and only slightly more expensive.
I would love to keep you guys in the loop. The downside is that it attracts too much attention. I already have people calling non stop wanting to put in a deposit or try to bride me outright for the first system.
We are a small company and the more time I can keep off the phone the more time I can spend working on the exhaust. I am using my cell phone as a business phone. I have thought about getting a dedicated work line with normal business hours. However I have many customers calling on weekends and in the evenings after work that need legitimate install advice.

Richie, you have no idea how much that means to me...at least now, I plan to leave you alone until after batch 2 are complete. I'm very excited that you still plan to come up with a dedicated base tip. I can't say enough GOOD about how awesome this exhaust sounds, performs and looks.

I'll PM you my info.

Richard now thats customer service....way to make me regret not getting this exhaust....

Richie - how big will the boxes be that you ship them in? Will they be rectangular boxes or will they be molded into (roughly) the shape of the exhaust?
I live in an apartment building on the 7th floor... I want it to fit in the elevator and through the door haha.

How can a "true dual" exhaust originate from an already collected single output j-pipe?

It merges but never becomes 1...then reopens into 2. Feel free to get a "custom setup done instead". Anil can tell you how cost effective that route will be.

its always more expensive to be the first....the couple other guys who I have been helping have gotten their exhaust done in less than 1200 and this includes the jpipe section ....so rv6 comparable setup would be ~$2000....
and it sounds better IMO....but i love the loudness of my exhaust and the little rasp at 3500 rpm which I can blame the Precats on....
about a true dual....the X-merge that you talk about is a soft x merge....the diameter of the merge is more than the diameter of the piping but in this case the piping is 2.25" wide and the merge is 2.5" wide....so you are restricting the flow....
i understand you are biased, but the RV6 isnt really a true dual but it comes dang close....now if he offers a 3" collector on the jpipe and a matching 3" collector where the exhaust begins, it will come closer to a true dual as the merge wont be restrictive....but i think the 3" collector will add some drone/rasp and a low rpm rumble (rumble i like )
