RV6 V2 Precat Delete Interest
You guys have been sending me emails, PMs and calling me non stop about these. Here is the situation I have 50 sets of brand new V2 precat deletes sitting in a warehouse in Taiwan. Since shipping is expensive I wanted to combine them with my next batch of Jpipes to save cost. The only problem is that the Jpipes wont be ready for ~60 days. There has been considerable interest in these If we can get 10 people to put down a deposit, I will have them flown in 3 day UPS Air. The final price will be $345 shipped in the 48 states by Fedex Home or $363 to Canada by Priority mail. Lets make it happen guys ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

will installing the precats give me a check engine light or will this kit come with a o2 sensor simulator plug of some sort...Live in Mass and can pass as long as I have no CEL and it passes when machine hooks up to OBD2 connector...

you should be good to go for all your questions. the only thing you wont pass is a visual or an actual emissions test.

yes not all, and im not an exhaust expert on piping but IMO 3inch piping is too big and i think you will lose low end TQ but Highway top end you should see an improvement.

are you saying this from what you heard or do you have this installed and dont have an issue with CEL? just want to be 100% sure before commiting to this purchase, I can pass visual no problem and we dont do the sniffing of emissions here so i would be good in that department...Main Concern is the CEL and failing when hooking up to OBD2....RV6 do you know anything about this issue? Thanks in advance

Yes RonjonTL is correct the V1 precats were more prone to cracking due to the thinner metal being used. Not all of them had this problem just a higher percentage then we like. You will get some good top end gains but with the 3" exhaust you may loose some TQ. That is a huge exhaust BTW are you going FI?
The kit comes with O2 sims you shouldn't get a CEL.

May consider this. Just don't want to go through the process of swapping them out when emissions comes. ![ugh](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ugh.gif)
Then again, I wouldn't mind a full "straight pipe" from the engine to the exhaust.

hey rich, any reason why you deleted the mini flex pipe on the rear PCD from the earlier batch of V1's? i thought maybe it would help keep some strain off the metal and welds from the engine movement. ive got this set and havent had any issues thus far.
anyhoo, the V2's look pretty nice! IMO, the best bang for the buck mod available for our cars right now

Yea, do not go 3". I had 3" pipe on my v8. It would be way to big for the TL. 2.25 or 2.5 at the biggest.
