I think you will get it very soon if not tomorrow. Try calling them, not e-mailing them. I don't think they really reply e-mails.
You're right - mostly. The RSB Bushings I ordered shipped the day of the order and will arrive Monday - not e-mail/web update - had to call to find that out.

Dynomax did not ship - they're waiting on stock. Found that out on the same call.

I'm sure Holiday's/Vacation/Closures is in part to blame, but their site says that the web account/order updates and email notifications are automatic. Well, they're not.

Have you got it installed? What do *you* think - how does it sound??

Shop didn't have a guy who do the job at the moment, so I'm going on next Monday. I'll sure update then.

finally, I got my stage 3 done today. Took about 20 mins and $100. Sound difference is not really noticable unless you try to hear it (well, at least from inside). However, there is definitely difference. Now I understand people trying to put more gas just to hear it more and I kinda do it too now. It was definitely worth it for the money.

I don't mean to be a ricer but has anyone noticed that the Stage 4 kind of has that raspy hollow ferrari w/ tubi kind of tone, but at a much lower pitch?

I just got refunded by carpartsplanet.com. What a mess, I had sent about 20 emails over the past week with no response until now when they FINALLy cancelled my order because the muffler/resonator was on backorder. DON'T ORDER FROM carpartsplanet.com I need to reorder from somewhere. Any recommendations???

^^

You can try SportCompactOnly.com (same as Motorweb.com) 39.09 w/free shipping if you order by phone. Make sure you check stock on the item.

They shipped a tad slow, but I have to admit it was over New Year Holiday. Comms were not great, but I could always reach the sales desk when I did not get Cust Service.

To be "totally safe" you can order from Summit Racing, but you'll pay something like $50 plus shipping.

I tried everybody that everyone used and the Dynomax was still on backorder. I ended up buying it from Summitracing.com because I was sick of playing games. It was a little more expensive, but they have it in stock and are shipping it out today...

Bought mine from Summit Racing, they don't mess around. Received mine within a few days and they even sent me a free hat!

P.S. - I never wear the hat but it was a pretty cool gesture on their part!

Is it just me or does the underside of your car look amazingly F'n clean?

My 24234 just showed up; 1 day sooner than expected.

$100 install still kills me for 20 mins work. That's a $300 per hour shop rate. Bastards.

Wow...that's how much I was charged before I found my exhaust shop

Bet you can have it done for less than $50 if the shop charged you honestly

I shopped all around. Dingy, dinky shops; Si, Habla Espanol shops; Custom Exhaust Shops; Midas/Meinke type Shops. I talked to 10 or 12 shops easy, maybe as many as 20.

I showed them pics, video's and parts drawings. Told 'em that Stillhere153 had it done in less than 10 minutes.

Didn't matter. Every F'n one was at least $100. One shop told me $120 to $150

Whatever. I've had a little time to deal with it, I'm not going to waste any more time on it. I'll just take it to one of the places close by and pay my $100.

First thing I thought was: Nice wheels. I want a pair in chrome.
2nd thing: Is your car new? because the underside is really clean. Mine is 5 months old now, and looks nothing like that.

Charlotte, NC. Just seems to be the going rate. Wish I was up in the Newark/NYC area where you guys can find a shop to do 'em for $50 or $60.

Wow, I wouldn't know what to say if I was quoted $100 for a resonator delete. Unless it was full stainless steel + mandrel bent.

gandatoyou. kudos for the pics man. i appreciate it. So it seems like the shop removed my resonator and replaced it with a straight pipe. the mid muffler is still attached. I plan on buying a dynomax now.

Finally got my stage 3 done today It sounds slightly better, I just can't wait for it to "break in" so I can see what it will really sound like! I had to get the Dynomax from Summit Racing and it cost my $65 shipped which was more than I wanted, but it was on backorder everywhere else I checked. They had it here in 2 days! The install made up for the price difference of the part though because they only charged me $30 to remove the stock resonator and mid-muffler, and install the Dynomax, bend and install the straight pipe and weld it all back up including a new exhaust hanger!! Now i just gotta order my Fujita cold-air intake....

Gandatoyou, this pic looks like they didn't install a new exhaust hanger for you. It is probably a good idea to make sure you get one installed, it will take the strain off of the pipes and welds. Just my

Ive got the stage 3 w/ fujita f5 in my car, shoot me a PM if you'd like the link to the sound clip i have. Just some FYI, but from inside the car the fujita over powers the sound of the exhaust at higher RPM 5k+.

I plan on getting stage 3 done in the next month or so.

Since the exhaust is free-er flowing with the Magaflow resonator, wouldn't there be small gains achieved by Stage 3?

minimal if any, but probably not. By the way the Magnaflow is stage 2, the Dynomax is stage 3.

DONE!!

Finally.

Definately louder (but not too loud). Especially different below 4,000 rpm and moderate throttle or when downshifting. It's subtle, but noticable. Will reset the ECU/PCM this weekend.

Looks just like gandatoyou's install (with a new hanger).

And, just like his pics, I had to drop my drawers too ($95), but I took it like a man .
