Relocating temp sensor....worth it?

I have an AEM cai, and i'm trying to decide whether I want to move it or not. I'm almost NEVER on the highway, so i'm averaging about 15-18mpg....I heard it kills gas mileage and has no real effect. Lets get some input!

It takes 30 seconds, if that, to move it. Why don't you just move it and find out what, if anything, happens? This is like most things, everyone has their own experiences and opinions....the best thing you can do is create your own. If you really want to know everyone else's thoughts and opinions, do a search...it's been discussed at length before.

if you try to plug the harness onto the sensor after you relocated it the harness wont be long enough, it has a shared boot with another plug in. You just have to take off some of the electrical tape so that it extends. I dont know if this sounds complicated or not but once you go to do it you will see exactly what I am talking about.

Here is a link that is dedicated to discussing the pros and cons to moving the IAT sensor.

In the link provided below, be warned that some people called the IAT sensor as a O2 (oxygen) sensor. It is *not* an oxygen sensor. It is an Intake Air Temperature sensor.
