I didn't know so many people are following this thread. Now i am even more excited!!

Anyways I also located all the wires I would need to wire up the E-manage ultimate. I will get that hooked up and see if it could be a solution to tuning the ECU.

Are you also installing the Greddy E-manage ultimate or just the ACM that comes with the supercharger?

I will have the wires /pinout typed out in a bit.

The above pinouts are actually the same on both automatic and manual ECU.

Thanks lookinco! Hondata or E-manage? That's going to be a tough one. I'll wait and see what your results are. Hopefully it can handle the HBP from Comptech.

+1 for anticipation on this thread. Everytime I get an email, I click it to see the details. You should try to snap some pictures of it in the shop to keep our attention

Talking

LOL - There were 3 things that came to mind when I saw this picture:

1. Now I know who shifts the gears when the automatic is in Drive.
2. If that's the male voice for the NAVI system, where's the woman for the female voice?
3. I think I finally found affordable housing AND a decent car both for under $40K.
(It looks like the roof doesn't leak either!)

hahaha..good one!!

okay I will snap some pics tomorrow. I will definitely make a video when the car is running.

In the mean time, I just received my premade E-manage harness for the 03-06 V6 Accord. I will see if it would be compatible with the TL.

And here is a picture of my new wheel. Nothing really amazing. But it sure is pretty light, only 15.5lb each.

Any news with the transmission?

Also, what exhaust setup will you be running?

Transmission is in the shop. They are working on it already.

As for exhaust, I am going for the sleeper look. Going to keep the rear OEM mufflers but changed the B pipe to 2.5" with an E-cutout. Also replaced the 3rd cat with a straight pipe.

Turns out the wiring for the V6 Accord is totally different. Good thing is the plug seems to be identical so all I have to do is rewire the harness and should be good to go. At least it will still be plug'n play and I won't have to butcher the stock wiring harness.

Nice wheels! What size? 17" ? I personally have been debating between stock 17" and 18" now because of weight. I know if I getter a lighter 17 with some good rubber the acceleration would be even better. And with a drop it won't look that bad. Nice updates on the ECU wiring too. Did you try boomslang?

I actually did buy the E-manage harness from boomslang. They don't have anything avaliable for the TL probably because no one have ever asked them to make one.

As for the wheels, they are 17". I want to keep my 17" Advan A032 / A048 tires. I know it looks a bit small especially it has a lip on there.....hope it won't look too bad on the TL.

Cool. I think they'll look fine. I've only seen one other TL member with them. Most will be against the stock size but Im for them. All depends on what you are trying to do with your car

Wow, a nice thread.

I hope everything works out for you, lookinco.

It's also good to know there are mod shops in Vancouver area.
I thought they were all south of the border.

looks good. let us know how much work is needed for the rewire for the boomslang harness? I talk to boomslang about the tl harness for the emanage last week. He told me he would order the factory manual and to give him a ring later on this month. I was going with the emanage before, but now I might be able to get hondata which is alot better. But I plan to ring up boomslang and see what he has for our car. You should do the same so for sure he will make it for us..
cool...

I already have all the pin outs needed for him to make the harness. If he really does want to make one, I can e-mail him the pinouts.

I have already started modifying the harness. Pretty much everything needs to be rewired.

Nah...she is in my bangbus....haha

Anyways I am working on the E-manage harness and I came upon some questions. Maybe you guys experienced with the E-maange could shed some light.

For the stock MAP sensor, do I simply hook it up to the Airflow Voltage 1 wire of the E-manage and use the stock MAP sensor to tune?

OR

Do I hook up the stock MAP sensor to the Analogue voltage input/output of the E-manage and use it to clamp the voltage of the MAP sensor going to the ECU so it won't throw an engine code when it senses boost? Then use the Greddy pressure sensor to tune accordingly to boost pressure?

okay....after further investigation, I found out that the 03-06 V6 Accord E-manage harness is compatible with the 04/05 TL ECU.

The 06 TL ECU however is COMPLETELY different.

So technically if you guys with the 04/05 TL want to try out the E-manage, the 03-06 V6 Accord harness would just simply be plug'n play for you.

Hey, the shop is Advace Motorsport down in Coquitlam. I do not actually own or work there. I am friends with them and they are sponsoring/helping me. I work on my car together with them.
