Also I own a Fully Bolted/Tuned/Bagged 2008 Acura TL Type S Automatic. Note that the TL/TL-S isn't exactly the best platform when it comes to performance. The $ to HP ratio is very high on the money side and not so much on the gains. If you set a reasonable goal that you want to achieve, it can be done as long as you know what you're diving into. Some members spend $$$ and get disappointed with less than expected gains. There is plenty information in the --> 3G TL Performance Parts & Modifications - AcuraZine Community <-- Thread. Search is your best friend. But like the others posted above, READ, READ, READ. Major Key, before you even consider doing performance mods, make sure your car is up on maintenance. Very very important as well.
Below are the performance mods I have done and I have attached some videos with pulls,a race (I have more but haven't uploaded yet), burnout and Dyno session. I also attach a graph which shows my baseline dyno all the way to my current fully bolted dyno. My progress thread is linked in my Signature below (which needs to update ) but you can follow my Instagram --> http://www.instagram.com/tliscious_typesex <-- which have the latest updates as well.

Same thing I said myself. Maybe I'm low-key trying to get my posts up lol. All jokes aside though I don't mind discussing and helping others. I always remember when I was in their position except I did more reading than posting.

I meant initially when I first joined. Then when I got my TL-S I started posting. But I was really such a noob because I didn't know much about cars much less about TL/TL-S. Then I saw how savage other members get when noobs post the same questions over and over. So I read, searched, read, subscribed to most of the turbo/supercharger builds, read, post here and there and read some more etc. I also spoke to a few members in the PMs like Bruce, Dom, Paperboy, ebelp, rockstar, just to name a few. So now I want to contribute my knowledge, experience to new guys here on the forums. I also contribute a lot on the FB pages as well.

Start with our XLR8 lightweight crank pulley! You'll see a reliable 5-10 horsepower and it's an easy bolt on installation that reuses your stock belt. We offer it for the 3G for $198.
You can also see some significant gains from our V2 Jpipe which we offer for $475 not including shipping. Our J-Pipe is made from full T304 stainless steel and is TIG welded and mandrel bent for great fitment and performance.
I recently picked up a '06 TL MT... And seeing how I can't leave well enough alone... I have been searching quite a bit. And it does get pretty exhausting trying to weed through the pages of BS to find that nugget of useful info that you were looking for. So thanks for the great response to a question I didn't even ask... LOL!!! I figure for a 10yr old car... most subjects have been covered in depth... But many don't want to go through the effort... or maybe just want the "attention" of posting a new thread???
Still trying to sort through the wheel fitment threads trying to find a suitable set (that both the wife & I can agree on) that clear the Brembos w/o spacers!!!
