Expect 5-10 horsepower from this intake and an easy installation. This intake is also CARB legal for those of you worried about emissions compliance.

-K&N Cold Air: Also CARB exempt, and a popular upgrade for those who are looking to get every last bit of power, the K&N Cold Air intake features great fitment and reliability. Like the AEM V2, expect 5-10 horsepower.

-HPS Short Ram: Those of you worried about hydrolocking and complicated installs, look no further. HPS offers their beautifully crafted short ram intake in red, wrinkle black, blue, and polished. The Short Ram design may not provide as much power as the Cold Air units, but the ease on installation and safe design make it very appealing.

-P2R Throttle Body Spacer: Increase horsepower and torque with this 3/4 inch P2R Throttle Body Spacer. Tests on a 06 Civic Si produced a 4.5 horsepower gain at the wheels! This spacer comes equipped with a 1/8th inch NPT threaded port at the bottom that can be used as an extra vacuum port or for nitrous. Includes extended bolts, plug, and is anodized to a brilliant show-quality shine.

P2R Throttle Body Spacer - Excelerate Performance - European, Exotic and Japanese Performance Specialists!!

-P2R Intake Manifold Spacer: P2R Intake Manifold Spacer will increase TQ and shift HP curve lower. This spacer is thick and made from 6061 aluminum. Combine with 2 P2R Thermal Intake Manifold gaskets your total spacer thickness will be increased even further. Includes necessary bolts and washers to install. Remember the thermal gaskets are sold separately.

Exhaust:


-XLR8 Catback: Our XLR8 catback exhaust systems were designed with fitment and performance in mind. We make each exhaust from high quality U.S. sourced T304 stainless steel and manufacture them here in the U.S. Our systems also come with the option of a welded in resonator which would reduce unwanted noise and drone at low RPM's.

-ATLP Catback: Made from Mandrel bent 439 stainless steel, the ATLP catback system for the 04-08 TL also features a 2.5" midpipe that splits off into a 2.25" diameter that feeds directly into the mufflers and 3.5" tips. Also take note the V2-R ATLP system utilizes a 3" midpipe which is larger in diameter to account for forced induction and high power applications!

-Endless RPM Catback: The Endless quad catback has dual T304 stainless Magnaflow mufflers and clamps, with 2.5" mandral bent Stainless piping. This exhaust system has no rasp, no obnoxious sound, minimal drone and a unique sound.

-XLR8 V2 Jpipe: The XLR8 V2 Jpipe is built to provide unmatched performance by removing the 3rd catalytic convert. It's also made from U.S. grade T304 stainless and is manufactured here in the U.S. This Jpipe will not cause a check engine light, and will work with stock and aftermarket catback systems and has better ground clearance than the V1. We dyno tested our V2 Jpipe on a 2007 TL Type S and it gained 20hp and 29tq.

-ATLP V2 Jpipe: The ATLP V2 Jpipe replaces the factory Jpipe as a bolt-in no-weld part that eliminates the factory restricted Jpipe. This Jpipe uses 2.25" equal length primaries which end at a 2.5" collector. The entire unit is made from 439 stainless and is mandrel bent with nickel plated steel flanges. Keep in mind the V2-R Jpipe from ATLP uses very specific length 2.25" primary tubes, a revised collector merge design, and a 3" collector for maximum power.

-Endless RPM Jpipe: Endless offers their Jpipe that does not delete the third catalytic converter for those of you worried about passing emissions in extremely strict areas. The shiled tabs allow the stock heat shield to still remain attached if wanted. Mandrel bends, plug and play (no repacing sensors or anything of that sort), equal length runners for max air flow and great fitment.

RV6 J-Pipe - Excelerate's Honda & Acura Store - Japanese Performance Specialist

-RV-6 PCD: If emissions are not a priority, and you're looking to squeeze out every last horsepower, the RV-6 pre-cat deletes are the inevitable choice. They completely remove the two primary catalytic converters for maximum air flow. Keep in mind these will cause a check engine light, as well as some rasp and noxious fumes from the tailpipe.

-RV-6 HFPC: If power is the priority, but you want to try and pass emissions in your state, the high flow pre-cats from RV-6 are for you. Made from 304 stainless steel and utilizing 200 cell metallic substrate converters, these bolt in high flow cats will increase air flow while still providing a form of emissions control.

Engine Components:


-XLR8 Lightweight Crank Pulley: Our lightweight engine crank pulley is made for us exclusively by Unorthodox Racing. Our pulley is CNC machined from billet aluminum, 0 gram balanced, and designed to be stock diameter. This means you can reuse your oem rubber belt for an easy installation. The weight savings at the crank means you'll pick up roughly 5-10 horsepower, and it's totally safe. The J series is internally balanced meaning there's no risk to swapping out to our lighter pulley.

Ktuned Billet Shifter: The K-Tuned TSX/Accord Shifter is a direct replacement for the 04-08 TSX, 03-07 Accords, 04-08 Acura TL.K-Tuned solved the weak oem side arm problem by using a delrin pivot ball and included some adjustment to shorten the shift throw up to 35%. They also offer an optional tall shift lever (see Related Items listing) for circuit racers that want 6" of additional height. The overall design will eliminate any flex or movement that is found in the OEM TSX/Accord plastic box.

The Flashpro is not compatible with any 04-06 base automatic TL. It will work with any TL-S, and any manual 04-06 TL with use of adapter harness (sold separately).

great list tom/xlr8! my only addition is to split up the atlp j pipe into two items...they sell the atlp v2 which doesn't eliminate the 3rd cat and they sell the v2-r which does eliminate the 3rd cat. i think specifying them as two distinct items will help, and the notice of not eliminating the 3rd cat for the atlp v2 is very important since some people don't want to do that in california.

i think you should also add in the high flow 3rd cats (atlp and xlr8) for the same reason above...california sucks haha

I'll work on a couple links for the High Flow 3rd cats and ATLP V2 and our V1 Jpipe, neither of which eliminate the 3rd cat. Maybe we can have a "California" post. Unfortunately none of these car CARB certified, but will be nice to add them in here for those that don't want to go full race car.

What would you start with on a 2005 TL 3.2 base automatic?
I'm assuming the j-pipe, possibly intake, and reduce body weight. Are there any suggestions to some simple mods ? We don't need a race car, just maybe a noticeable improvement and some direction. Thanks
