impressed with TB spacer

I just installed the p2r TB and also did the coolant bypass that became very popular here. I couldnt be more satisfied since my TL has the power back. The car feels a lot more responsive and the power is consistent. I had a problem with my TL as many others did wich was a soon as the engine bay heats up the car loses its power.... now with these two modification i was able to drive it for about half hour and drive it really hard and when i got home i did the longes burnout in my TL ever wich before was just a dream it wouldnt even spin the tires a little bit. This time i felt like im gonna lose control...

now im looking forward to doing the lightweight stock size pulley.

Congrats.

My Outlawengineering TB spacer has been sitting in my garage for over one year... Maybe I should put mine in this weekend... with the bypass mod.

belive me it really helps a lot. Now my intake after driving it for a long time its just warm to touch. Before it got really hot cause the little pipe that is attached to the bigger one entering the intake, was running coolant trough to the Throttle body and that used to get krazy hot and it would transfer heat aswell to the TB. Now everything is so much cooler....honestly by doing the coolant bypass i belive the spacer doesnt to much any more but ej looks cool i guess

IMO If you live in anywhere where it gets very cold during winter I would be very leery of doing the coolant bypass mod...

Yes - but imagine if you live up north and you know how the cold weather goes it can come in an instant.... Imagine what would happen if you forgot to do undo the bypass and it got got below freezing.

- yes its a cool mod and all, but IDK if its as practical as say a p2r TB and CAI

I wouldn't think so seeing that the spacer is giving you more room to gun it, but hey if you don't want to gun it why buy it?

whats the worst that could happen anyways....But in my opinion when u turn on ur car in the morning its cold as it is already. So if you drive out of the garage the instant u turn it on it would be the same thing anyways. * having the coolant go trough the TB or not. I always warm up my car before leaving anyways....So there is no possible chance of that ever happening. unless u live in a freakin alaska
