IAT mod question

To whomever did this mod. Relocate IAT sensor from throttle body into stock air box. My question is what did you guys use to patch original hole inside throttle body. Any help would be great. Thanks

I never heard of anyone doing it to a stock intake...

I have relocated... it's attached to the AEM cold air intake tube...

I think I Hate Cars did his to troubleshoot/eliminate a surging issue.

To the OP: Find I Hate Cars and PM him.

type-s09 - I lost 2-3 mpg doing it with my AEM. I moved it back shortly after I noticed this. I would imagine doing it on the stock airbox would yield a similar result.

damianek - have to agree with rodneyc77, never heard of doing this with the stock intake...kind of hard for people to answer you when they have no idea what you're talking about .
