Hondata Mobile and Flashpro

I was poking around Hondata's website looking at information about the S300 for my DD and I saw this......

I scrolled down the page a little bit and there it was! Some of our FlashPros (shipped after 10/8/2013) have Bluetooth!! I ordered around that time so hopefully my flashpro is one of those! I am patiently waiting for the FlashPro Manager 1.73 to see if I lucked out.

I didn't see any previous post in regards to this so I thought I would share the news!

Ive always wanted to install a carputer into the TL, then wire up the FlashPro to it and have a live datalog running on the front screen on the dash.

You know... your idea might even work for cars with Navi-touch screens. Couple hacks will do the trick.

bouncer07, I am confused by what you mean.. are you saying that an update will add Bluetooth to the FlashPro? I am pretty sure that's not possible with out the Bluetooth hardware being in place. Can you expand on this?

Just updated FlashPro Manager to the latest version and the firmware on the FlashPro and I have Bluetooth! Whoot

Originally I posted that FlashPro's sold after 10/8/2013 had Bluetooth already but looking through the FlashPro Help it says 7/9/2013. Hondata is offering the option to upgrade the FlashPro's without Bluetooth, see the link.

I'll test it out and see how it works, maybe even post a video.

Sorry for the quality it was filmed on my old iPhone 4S.

Didn't play with the app much but this is definitely a neat feature for the FlashPro!

Sucks I have one of the first flashpros and don't have the Bluetooth feature. Dont think it's worth 150 to upgrade for the cool factor
