Help and advice needed please!!!!

Hey guys,

I was doing my thermoblok spacers mod today and managed to do something really fking stupid. I dropped a bolt into one of the ports in the intake manifold. I know its prolly sitting on top of a valve or something but how do I get that sucker out? Any hard core modders out there lemme know what I can do........ Or am I just screwed?

I did that too and a magnet worked for me, its on the end of an antenna type extender thingy, or just duct tape it to a wire bent to snake down the intake plenum

magnet and fishing line. the intake is aluminum so the magnet won't stick to the walls. happy fishing.

^happy fishing indeed. Thanks for the replies guys. I got the nut out. Man my buddies were laughing at me when I had the big fat ass grin when I got it out of there. They've never seen me happier they said. We went to Walmart and got a couple of magnets from the kids section. We drilled a hole in one of em and tied several phone cable wires into it and fished the nut out. It was pretty scary.

The car is revving nice. The intake, spacers and UR underdrive pulley are great mods. Now to get the sway bar and do my brakes.......... peace out!

The install was honestly pretty easy. Just have the correct tools and use the blip method. Works like a charm. It gonna sound scary esp when u here the crack sound when the bolt breaks loose. A shop wanted to charge me $150 to do it..... so I saved myself almost a month worth of gas money.....

If you are talking about the spacers, it only took me 2hrs and I really took my time.

I think the post you reference is for the pulley.

I noticed that the throttle response is better.

Still on the fence with the pulley myself.
