anyone with 2007 S/C TL that did the installation!?!?

 

Sounds like the blower end is too low. I just looked at mine and there is a good bit of space between the starter and the bottom of the blower. Adjust the blower higher on the bracket, also make sure the Rad hose they gave you is attached first.

No one with a 2007 did supercharger installation?!
it's the whole blower unit won't fit because of the starter is in the way
Wondering if anyone with an 07 did installation? and send some pictures of how you installed it

I just installed a CT supercharger the other day.

Read the blower install instructions thoroughly and you will not have any problems.

 

If you are still having issues, take it to a shop. Paying is better that messing something up on a 5k blower.

I did mine myself, and had no problems w/ my starter bein in the way.

 

you guys are all getting confused with the issue...

the issue only applies to 2007-2008 TL 5AT

07+ TL received an update with respect to the Transmission, thats why he is having problem installing.. well it came off my car!! LOL

anyhow....
as a note for installing on 07+ 5AT (i think it will apply to type-s 5AT also)
1) You will have to saw off the blower support bracket from underneath the blower, you and use the the engine mount and create a bracket/brace to the blower, we used the Throttle Body)
2) You need to put your battery to the BACK... yes.. to the BACK... because the shift linkage will be in the way of your new battery tray!

Those are your major 2 problems!!!!
