There are only five pair currently in circulation, so it's doubtful. I have them and the car is noticably stronger everywhere in the rev range. If I had to guess, I'd say 10-12 whp or so. That's on an otherwise fully bolted 6MT base though, that had 900 cell cats from the factory. The Type-S, in theory, should see lesser gains going to 200 cell cats, being that they have 600 cell cats to begin with.

I wouldn't base this purchase exclusively on a dyno reading anyway, unless the runs were done immediately before and immediately after the install.

There are three cats total. The two primary ones bolt directly to the heads, then to the j pipe. The third one is after the j pipe, and is eliminated by Richie's j pipe or can be replaced by a straight pipe when using the stock or another after market j.

Just to clarify, when I said 10-12, I meant just from the HFPC's themselves. With Richie's V3 j pipe, probably closer to 20 total.

They are talking about the pre cats that comes off the head not the third one thats further down the exhaust stream.

ohh thanks. So HFPC or PCD > RV6 V3 Jpipe > Catback. Which one is better the HFPC or PCD?

Its personal preference but the PCD itself will gain more power as it is a straight through design whereas the HFPC still has a less restrictive cat in the way. One is louder and so on. This has been explained before.

PCD with stock catback would yield 15WHP. PCD with no restrictions would yield 20-25 WHP.

And if someone would do something like this for this forum, he would be called a liar with the real results.

Not yet :/

I'm saving up for the turbo so I may end up building a custom exhaust with stock tips. I may get MM delete just for the heck of it.

you'll hate it once you put the pcd's on.
once, you upgrade parts of your exhaust, that cheapy stage 3 mod becomes extra cheapy. i get rasp on stock exhaust, it;ll sound extra ricer with the stage 3.

so if your ultimate plans is to upgrade exhaust components, dont do the stage mods.

You have to find them on there site. The stage 2/3 resonators are only 2.25" I believe.

Go buy an exhaust so you won't need to get a bigger resonator.
