Chart is very smooth. I have 2 questions...Why does the graph stop @5800? Redline is 6800. Also, torque is a bit high, and it seems the powerband is almost flatlined in HP from 5200-5800, that's weird too. Maybe Vit can chime in?

I had the same questions as you, and this is what Vit sent to me, "3rd gear partial WOT".
This was done while I was data-logging, and getting my Vit-tune(e-tune). I remember exactly what I was doing at that time. I was just doing my normal driving to log data, there was slow traffic on the highway and I went to pass them. My car down shifted, I got up to speed, and then I let off the gas, this is what we got. It was the only time I got on my car and is the only dyno that I have at this time. I will do some more runs when the rode is clear and after the maps are ready for me to do some WOT passes in all gears.
Let me know if you guys have any more questions for me, and I will try my best to get the answers.
Anyone else using the FlashPro, and have some thoughts?

Is it even possible for an N/A Honda to make more torque than horsepower?

Just hooked up the flashpro today to my car and am not sure where to start I loaded up the basemap for the 2007 tls auto stock one and I dont see much of a difference at all the car feels pretty much the same. Does anyone have any calibrations i can use to help guide me to some power? Also should i play around with the vtec window or leave it alone?

I'd leave vtec alone, jmo. As far as power, did you not see what the gains are? Like 7-8whp. You won't really feel that.

Didnt feel much of difference at all to be honest, a little disappointed. Not sure if its because the basemaps tuned for just a stock tls..but ive pretty much got full bolts

Did you compare any of the maps before and after applying the base map? You can prob see how much difference there is or not. I think you need to custom tune it since you're fully bolted

bunch of haters. lol

datalog the car first and then start making changes. Small changes with AFR, then timing, then vtec, and etc. google up tuning with flash pro. That should give you an idea.

I have modest bolt ons..... HFPC/J-PIPE, 2.5" exhaust into stock mufflers, K&N panel filter. Bit has been doing all of my e-tuning, and I feel most of my gains in the midrange 3-6k rpm. I no longer feel the VTEC switch over.... Just smooth power delivery.

Dude, you should try previewing your posts once in a while to make sure they work.

Also I ordered the FlashPro today along with the etune. Once I receive the unit and get the tune back I will post results.

Not trying to sway you either way, but there are many qualified tuners in Baltimore and the surrounding area's that can dial in your car in person, on a dyno... the whole e-tune thing is sketchy imo.

i'll post Tmarks dyno image tonight since i can't access photobucket at work, his virtual dyno says 304 whp and 274 ft-lbs.

for those guys datalogging using just the flashpro....i've been using just the flashpro but Vit told me last night to start using the laptop when datalogging the TL since the Flashpro direct datalogging is a little off for the TL (he says poor knock feedback).

just a heads up to anyone datalogging

I know a few very reliable tuners who are great with FlashPro in the area as well, but I wanted to toss the FlashPro on before I head on vacation which is a 3 hr drive each way so didnt want the car running terrible for the ride. I am debating on going turbo so I need to decide on that and once I have that idea down I will definitely do a real time dyno tune. I just mainly wanted to play with the FlashPro in the mean time so opted for the quick etune.

what one of you e-tunes guys needs to do is get your tune finalized and saved off. Revert the car to stock calibration, get physical dyno results, then upload the e-tune and re-dyno to see the actual differences. Virtual dyno by itself tells us nothing.

agreed. i'll be down to do this if i can find out about a dyno day of some sort in San Diego.

the e-dynos are not very helpful standalone, but they are nice to provide a relative view into pre-mods and post-mod/tune differences (if done on full throttle on the same road). i had an e-dyno from before hfpcs and a tune, and will do another post hfpcs and tune on the same exact road, just to get an idea of the gains.

but i'll keep my eye out for a dyno day

That graph looks very unstable. What's with the huge fluctuations?

Only one stock map and one tuned map for NA 2007 TL. But the stock map is a good start and very easy to tune yourself with the great logs provided with the software.

Yikes! from the graph that tune is funny, I wouldnt even use that virtual dyno you can tell nothing from what I see... it in no way represents a proper powerband with the exception of the 5252rpm crossover lol

So I got my FlashPro on and working with my car but im having some problems with a few things.

1. Launch Control is not working properly. I have it set at 5000 rpm with a 4700 bounce which works perfectly. However once I take off normally and start driving, the Hondata has set the rev limiter to the same RPM as the launch control so in every gear I cannot go higher than 5000 rpm. I had to change the launch control setting to 6900 rpm so that I was able to do a normal WOT pull.

2. I have uploaded the VitTuned file to my FlashPro and the first run only saw a few knocks in cylinder 3 while just driving and not datalogging. Once I hit datalog, I did a 20 minute normal drive, no WOT, no VTEC and I was getting knock in cylinder 3. BUT the weird thing was there was no ignition retarding when the knock was occurring. Also the knock was not being counted like a tally system where the number keeps going up. It would fluctuate all over going from 0-200 back down to 10 back up to 60 back down to 45 back up to 150 back down to 20 etc etc. So I got worried and took the tune off and did another datalog for the stock Acura tune and was getting the same thing. The knock count was all over the place.

The thing about this is, I have never gotten a CEL for knock once. And its only in cylinder 3. I get one or two here and there in other cylinders but that is nothing to worry about. I am wondering if there is a hardware issue with the FlashPro, a bad spark plug ( i have yet to replace them, @65k miles) or an injector is clogged or not seated properly from when I did the PnP runners etc. So Im kinda confused at to if this is real knock or its ghost knock and something is just reading wrong. Whatever the case may be Im going to have Vit take a look at all the logs and try to diagnose what the issue is.
