I was trying to do the mid-muffler and resonator delete and I ended up buying this Dynomax 24234 Ultra Flow Aluminized Steel 2 1/4" In/Out Muffler. I did more research and found out that it was supposed to be part #Dynomax 24215.
Can anyone let me know if the product i bought will work? +how it will sound?

 

I believe our piping is 2.5"
Not sure if it will work or not though.

 

As far as i know the stock pipe is 2.25 and you flare it to 2.5 to fit over the stock pipe. Thats what I did one my mid muffler delete.

 

I would go with 2.5" so you don't need to flare it out. As far as muffler vs resonator, I'm not sure about the difference in sound but I'd be worried about the size of the muffler. It might not fit in the stock location. Do you have a picture of the muffler?

I just looked it up and it looks like it would work and on most of the reviews they are using it as a resonator anyways. I think you should try it out and let us know how it sounds.
