Dealer Diagnostic Computer Emulators

Coming from the Audi world there were emulators available that you could purchase that would give full emulation of the dealer diagnostic computer. I'm not just talking about a simple OBD scanner. Such a computer will let you write changes to the various modules in the car, not just read and clear trouble codes. Does anything exist in the Honda world that is similar.

i suspect u mean the Vacom unit being used for Audi-VW?
as far as i know there is nothing available that allows u into the CAN-buss. there are some OBDII units that will allow communication w/ the emmissions computer (and allows u to clear codes).
another member here has recommended the AutoTap: http://www.autotap.com/#AutoTap

if anyone has any other reco's i'd love some feedback before i spend my hard-earned $$...

Yes, I was referring to the Vag-Com software, but there are several available. I started out with a 16-bit version called VWTool back in 1997 which I paid $800 for, but then purchased the Vag-Tool tool later on. There is even a Palm version for Vw/Audi called Prodiag.

Yea, I've used Autotap before, and that wasn't really what I meant. I was looking for something that was more Honda specific that was more of a dealer emulation rather than generic OBDII tool.

With the size of the Honda tuning community I'm suprised nothing exists.

To me that looks like another generic OBDII code scanner. On the nicer end, but just a code scanner.

From what I found the dealer use this:
Honda Diagnostic System

Looks like they have three options for the dealers. One being a $9000 complete Tablet PC system, Pocket PC version, and a pure software version. It looks like the pure software version is $840. It looks like one of the options is the unit you listed, but has special Honda software on it.
